Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I have read through this entire thread and have enjoyed reading some of the trades being made.
I am a Reds' fan and am looking for some opinions on possible trades. Like IRL reds', my team is struggling to hit for average. Votto and Cozart are the only ones hitting over .250. Only 13 games in and I am 2 games back of the Brewers.
I don't see the Reds' unloading Rolen this year and would be suprised if he isn't a Red next year as well.
WANTED
3B top prospect (right handed/contact hitter)
Available
Arroyo (can't seem to get Berkman, Holliday, Beltran from hitting 2 homers each) - actually very realistic
Masset (injury plagued)
Any non-MLB starter (includes Billy Hamilton who seems way overrated)
I'm using OSFM Opening day rosters and going for realism here (will wait till early June to make the trade)
EDIT : I like Will Middlebrooks, but not sure what it would take even if Boston would be willing to let him go
Other options: Miguel Sano (Twins), Arenado (Rockies), Rendon (Nats), Olt (Rangers) , Castellanos (Tigers)Last edited by UCallen; 04-16-2012, 08:32 PM.Comment

Everyone looking for a LOOGY should do themselves a favor and trade for Randy Choate. Guy is dominant in-game.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In my Mariners franchise I traded Chone Figgins to the Braves for Julio Teheran. I nearly restarted my franchise after they accepted out of guilt. But I decided to take Teheran, and mounted it up to the Braves not having the smartest of GM's.Comment
