I'm in the second year of my Yankees 'chise and Arod has retired. I gave myself a tighter budget than the the game did because I want a little bit more of a challenge. Because of this, my roster is a little weaker.

It's June 2nd and basically, I'm looking for a young DH/3B/Corner OF with a higher contact rating because my ream is struggling to hit for contact (the team is hitting a collective .250) Gardner and Ichiro are underperforming BIGTIME (.217 and .218 respectively). The players I've been using at 3B and DH (Eric Chavez, Stephen Drew, and Jayson Nix) have been underperforming as well.

My team is 28-25, 3rd place in the AL East and 4.5 games back. My top choices would be Pablo Sandoval (SF) or Yonder Alonso (SD). the padres have the same record as I do and are also in 3rd place. SF is 21-32 and 11 games back.

What would be a fair package to offer either team? I could part with Manny Banuelos. He started the year in MLB but struggled to 1-4 with a 4.75 ERA. I don't really want to give up Manny Banuelos AND Gary Sanchez.
    Thoughts?
Getting Chase Headley is a good choice for your 3rd base problems but I would suggest taking a look at Chris Davis or Mark Reynold from the O's. Depending on what type of season they're having, you could get them for a high C and a low B.

A guy who did really well for me in yr 1 of my franchise was Bryan LaHair. Wouldn't cost much and can play 1b, corner OF and DH. Seeing how he was dfa'd and sold to a Japan league team he would definitely be available.

I traded him at the deadline in 2012 for Stephen Drew and Ryan Roberts. I plug him in at 3rd or corner OF against lefties and does well for me in that role, but he isnt hitting a lick against righties.

Go get Alex Gordon from the Royals and put him at 3B. Offer up Banuelos, Hughes and Zoilo Almonte for a fair deal

Why move a gold glove-level-player to a different position?

He wouldn't nearly be as good at 3B to me.

Yeah he's really good in LF, I agree. What is that saying? "I was just making conversation"? I'm sure Gordon could bring some of his defensive value from LF to 3B. If I remember it correctly, reason he was moved to LF was Moustakas ranked higher at 3B in the system and that he weren't producing offensively at the major league level under a high pressure position like 3B. LF was considered a lot more low-pressure. Hopefully he's learned some stuff and grown as a player making a move back to 3B wouldn't change his production

LF would probably bring down his value because he hasn't played it in years. He honestly probably wouldn't be that good at it. And of course Moose is better, he's the best fielding 3B in the AL.

Gordon is very good at 3B. Moosetacos is just awesome defensively there. If he was any better as a defensive 3B, his name would Brooks Robinson.

That's a bit of an exaggeration but I accept your premise. Still don't like Gordon at 3B. He'd have to relearn it. Plus he's sooo much better in LF.

I'm looking for a good lefthanded reliever for my Jays franchise. Any ideas???

Does it really matter where I sent this from???
