I'd think Barnes and Bradley would do it, because imho you'd have to overwhelm them right now

im the marlins at the trade deadline and i'm pondering the idea of trading stanton because my team sucks. The only way I would trade him is if I get three A potential prospects but I'm having trouble with potential trades. i want to trade him to a contending team and the usual suspects are in contention. i was thinking

stanton to the yankees for C Gary Sanchez (A), SP Manny Banuelos (A), OF Mason Williams (A), C Austin Romine (B)

i might be overpricing stanton but he has 22 homeruns in 274 at-bats, is 22 and dirt cheap, so what do you guys think. i could also go with a deal from the pirates

stanton to the pirates for SP Jameson Taillon (A), OF Josh Bell (A), Luis Heredia (A), Allen Henson (B)

or indians who are in contention for SS Francisco Lindor (A), SP Trevor Bauer (A), 3B Lonnie Chisenhall (A)

are these realistic, and if so, which is the best one from my standpoint?

I think you could milk either 4 A's or 3 A's and two high B's out of a team for Stanton, so you're probably underpricing him.

That's pretty good and fair trade even though I hate the Skanks

You're sorta underpricing him right now. He's only 22-23 and his floor is 40HR's

stanton to the pirates for SP Jameson Taillon (A), OF Josh Bell (A), Luis Heredia (A), Allen Henson (B)

Another High B should do it. Maybe Alverez...

or indians who are in contention for SS Francisco Lindor (A), SP Trevor Bauer (A), 3B Lonnie Chisenhall (A)

Chisenhall has durability problems but in the game he's really good. Add an A or 2 high B's and it's fair

are these realistic, and if so, which is the best one from my standpoint?

Fairly, you're ripping youself off on some of these though...

Going into the 13/14 off-season and I'd like to upgrade the Pirates rotation. I have my eye on Ubaldo Jiminez. He's going to be 30 and has 2 more years left on his contract for about $11M/yr. Cleveland finished 2013 in 3rd place with a 76-85 record. Here are his stats for the past 2 years:

              2012 - 9-10, 4.46 ERA, 204 IP, 203 H, 22 HR, 206 K, 93 BB
              2013 - 10-13, 4.17 ERA, 211.2 IP, 203 H, 27 HR, 195 K, 87 BB

I know he's been discussed before, and I think the consensus was a couple B's. Does that still sound about right?

Giving up an insane amount of HRs, walks, and hits... I think 2 high C's would suffice.

I think I'm going to trade Stanton to the Mariners for C Mike Zunino (A), SP Taijuan Walker (A), SP James Paxton (A), CP Stephen Pryor (B), and SS Nick Franklin (B).

Planning on flipping Pryor/Franklin to the Yankees for OF Mason Williams (A), because Jeter and Rivera both retired so I figure they could use prospects in those areas.

I think I'd like that trade a little more if you were getting Hultzen rather than Walker, or Montero rather than Zunino, but aside from that, I like it.

I'd definitely go for Hultzen over Walker as he's more predictable and major league ready. Doubt the M's would move Montero and Zunino offers tremendous upside. Since the Marlins already have Rob Brantly and no space for a DH (Montero), they can afford to wait on a guy like Zunino to develop

I would go for Hultzen over Walker because adding Walker to the deal would rip the M's off. Hultzen, not really. I guess he could always add in Dustin Ackley rather than Zunino (Zunino's pretty untouchable imo).

All those guys are "off-limits" in Zduernick's eyes

But I guess scince it involves Giancarlo, Zduernick would make an exception...

Walker and Hultzen being untouchable I could see... Paxton, maybe maybe not... Same with Ackley... But there is absolutely no way Franklin is untouchable. Brad Miller, Stefan Romero, and Ackley, plus the incumbent Brendan Ryan make Franklin expendable.

Well like I said a looooooong time ago, to Zduernick, no-one of value is expandable...

But since it's virtuale reality I could see no-one untouchable on the M's roster...
