The only problem with them is the fact the have enough good pieces that I old have to o a bunch of trading!

They dont have that many good pieces

definitely agree....especially for an avid trader....Konerko, Dunn, Rios, Piersynski, Peavy, Danks are 6 guys right off the bat that'd be shipped off

Ok, lets get back to baseball here... Don't want this thread to get locked or see anyone banned.

I'm the pirates looking for a good young right handed 1B to add to the club. He doesn't have to be all world, just a decent, inexpensive player. I don't want to give up Cole, Taillon, or Bell but I wouldn't be apposed to shipping out Hanrahan, Tabata, Presley, or Marte.

Any suggestions?

I may be a bit late here, but you could always go for Mark Reynolds of the O's and move him from 3rd to 1st. He's a pretty awful defensive 3rd Baseman, but some of those defensive struggles will be hidden if he plays 1st. I wanna say he's under 28 and has a ton of power.

Thanks for the advise, and I did actually try that but the O's wouldn't budge, he is having a monster season so that may have been the reason.

More like he's a AAAA player....career .238 hitter, he could get a chance now that Hafner is out now though.

Another guy to look at would be Chris Davis or David Cooper, maybe Lars Anderson....

LaPorta has been really good in AAA this year and deserves a shot now with Hafner on the DL like you said. If I'm not mistaken, he's got B potential. What I like about him is that you can put him at either 1B or LF...mix and match with the lineup.

Lars Anderson, David Cooper, Chris Davis...all good options you could explore

This trade was just accepted in my franchise between 2 computers.

Rays trade Shields A (SP)
Indians trade Rodriguez B (SS), Sterling B (SP), Rodriguez B (CF)

The rays are 17-28 (11gb)
The indians are 19-25(8.5gb)


Do you guys think thats fair enough to let go through?

u should def add in another valuable piece or pieces
