Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
even tho i dont view Garza as a true ace, i think he's worth an A so i'd go with an A+B for him....i'd probably take one of the B's in your first trade and throw him into the second instead of SantosSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Why does everyone think Garza's worth an A? He had an ERA over 4 in his division last year, one of the weakest in the league. And Santos is a better fit, because of O'Flaherty (SP?) having B OVR, but C POT. McCann has that, too, A OVR, but B POT. Stupid, but he IS getting D'Arnaud."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
i dont always agree with the OSFM rating so he's a B POT in my book.....plus i dont think ur supposed to care where D'Arnaud plays once u trade him although that did cross my mind....as far as Garza goes, he had a mid 3 ERA in almost 200 IP's averaging a K per inning...so u think he's worth 3 B's?

I think I am, but only because I'm seen him live, at his worst, and it isn't pretty. Back on the Rays I've seen him get mauled..."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

im about to head to bed actually lol....yes i know what ur referrin to....would u be opposed to giving up just a low-A as opposed to 3 mid- B's?Steelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
As the Jays, my low-As are Rasmus and Arencibia. Colby's a beast for my everytime and I would only give him up for a superstar, and J.P.A. would leave me without an actual catcher.
No, Jeff Mathis doesn't count. Hahaha!"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

u should go get some sleep as well man....well at least try....and Rasmus was acquired for Jackson whose not on Garza's level if that means anything....im not expectin u to give up JP if ur trading D'Arnaud...cant afford to really trade Rasmus if ur giving up Gose and Marisinick....maybe 3 B's+ a useful player?Steelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Garza won well over 30 games for the Rays in 3 years between the ages of 24-26, never had a era over 4, and threw over 200 innings twice. Seriously? He's also one of the better strikeout pitchers in baseball.Comment

Rasmus was acquired while he was slumping, during a feud with La Russa, and had asked for a trade. So obviously, the price was down. However, I can just go OFF with Colby. I average 3-5 with him, I'd guess. Usually hit at LEAST a double, love his speed and glove. What a bomb he hit today, too. Into the second deck!
And yeah, after lying in bed from 10:30 to 2:30, I gave up lol.Last edited by AC; 06-18-2012, 04:07 AM."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

OH! I forgot to mention! I'm taking on Soriano and Amezega! Should've mentioned. So that should even it out, taking on those two.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Amezaga is irrelevant in any trade and idk if Soriano has his real-life contract in the game...if not, u might wanna throw in a Cecil or somebody useful since u don't wanna give up an A.....but yeah taking back Soriano's contract would definetly have some effect....i like Colby a lot as well...was thinkin of tradin for him in my franchise lol
Soriano does have his contract, I'm using Scott's rosters. And I'd LOVE to throw in Cecil. I'll drive him to the airport! Calling him 'useful' is a stretch."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment
