              A.) He can't play third
              B.) How is he doing?

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

Would 3 A's (One MLB caliber), and 2 C's be a fair trade for Justin Verlander and a F prospect?

The F is in there just so I can send all 5 guys to the Tigers.

This is a trade I made in my Cubs franchise to obtain Verlander, I felt it fair with Verlander still under 30 and one if, if not the best pitcher in the game. One of the A prospects is a 2B, which is a need for the Tigers.

So what would the trade value of Josh Beckett be. Heres his numbers:

                  6-3 record
                  3.34 ERA

(Remember, in 2011, he had a pretty good season)
Hes an A pot. and 32 years old.

I'm guessing you aren't going for realism. It's fair. If you took on a bad contract, it'd be better.

He is REALLY bad at third, man. He's played a bit of LF, though. I'd day wait and see how he plays after 50 games.

He's 28 and 2500 PA's in, the career arc of most hitters as peaked already so you'd riding a pretty big prayer that a change of ballparks adds 20 points and a dozen homers to his final line.

As for homers, Headley has 1187 home plate appearances and 1297 road plate appearances. 17 home homers, 27 road. That's still not really encouraging. Maybe he is a late bloomer in the power department. Again, a lot of maybes.

I'm not saying Headley isn't a good player, but the guy is 28 and it is VERY rare you see guys improving at this age. So how much of your organizations future are you willing to bet that a change in home ball parks turns a .270, 10 HR guy into a .290, 20 HR middle of the lineup guy for a top ball club? Pretty big risk to take when you want Headley to be the corner piece of a deal.

As for the Jays getting Justin Upton. Who exactly do the Toronto Blue Jays have that the Diamondbacks could want or need?

                          - D'Arnaud? Nope. Montero is getting $60M over the next 5 years and D'Arnaud is too good of a defensive catcher to try and move to a corner IF spot.

                          - Gose? Nope. He's a less polished Justin Upton with a fraction of Justin Upton's ceiling. Would they take him? Sure. But not without some combination of 3 or 4 of these guys.

                          - Marisnick? Not bad, OF (position player in general) is a weak spot in the minor leagues for Arizona but like Gose, you're going to have to bring a lot more to the table than a guy that won't be major league ready for two years for a guy with 40-40 raw skills.

Any of your pitching prospects? No thanks. Not a one would crack the top 4 in the Arizona system. A system that already has Ian Kennedy and Dan Hudson at the top of the rotation under contract through 2016 and 2017 respectively. Add in Bauer, Skaggs, Bradley and I don't see where any of these pitching prospects fits in. The Blue Jays organization felt highly enough of Tyler Skaggs that he is who they wanted if they shipped D'Arnaud to Arizona before the Montero contract.

I'd like to see what package the Jays could possibly put together to entice Arizona to even pick up the phone.
I agree and disagree with this. Sure Skaggs, Bauer and Bradley are all higher rated then any Blue Jays pitching prospects. But they would defitnitley have an interest in Gose. Dudes a stud and can easily become something close to what Upton is. I don't think a trade between these two wil happen especially with the Blue Jays falling out of the race, and they just really don't have a right package, they got the talent just not the package thats fit for Arizona

I just wnt the last couple hours correcting all the lineups and rotations in the minors on Scott's roster so that I could finally start my minor league season. Every year I take a team that has a great minor league team but not a great MLB team, rebuild by trading away a superstar or two and then play 1 game a week in my franchise until I get the big league roster to where it is full of those beginning prospects. (and no this is nothing like what mSUboy did or whatever) Im thinking of using te Twins and trading Mauer and mourneau for some pitching prospects and a catching prospect. If NFG and AC, you guys want to give me some proposals thAtd be great but I can be realistic on my own to. I'll still be playing my completely realistic Tribe chise on te side. This is just for fun and makes the game more enjoyable

That sounds like an amazing idea that I'm probably going to steal next year when the Jays prospects are higher up in the minors.

Mauer to the Marlins FOR Noah Perio, Jose Fernandez, and J.T. Realmuto (or whoever their top catching prospect is).

My reasoning; The Marlins are going all in. New stadium, new team, new look, new attitude. No catcher, though. They need a catcher badly. They can afford to get rid of some guys to compete this year.

You're getting a top second base prospect, a very good pitching prospect, and a good catching prospect.

Mauer to the Dodgers FOR Zach Lee, Gorman Erikson, and Garrett Gould

Dodgers appear to be going all in. They don't seem too afraid to move prospects, either.

You're getting a top pitching prospect, a meh catching prospect, and a decent catching prospect.

Conclusion for Mauer- A and Two B's should be good.

Morneau to the Giants FOR Tommy Joseph, Conor Gillaspie, Charlie Culberson

You get a very good catcher, a good pitcher, and I forget what Gillaspie is (LOL).

Morneau to the Nationals FOR Chris Marrero, Jeff Kaubernaus, Alex Meyer (if he's a B)

Nationals get that power hitting 1B they covet, and give up some prospects. You get some good pitching and a good IFer.

Morneau to the Dodgers FOR Chris Reed, Garrett Gould, Gorman Erikson

You get two good pitchers and a good catcher. They get their hitter.

Morneau to the Indians FOR Scott Barnes, Dillon Howard, Austin Adams

I'm not entirely sure on this one, you know the Indians a LOT better than me.

Summary on Morneau- Three B's should be fine.

I worked REALLY hard on this lol.

Haha thanks man do you think your Jays would be interested in Mourneau and what they'd give me

Edit: Nicolino and Syndegard .... Idk You have so many pitching prospects it's hard to distinguish them sometimes
