        Stop posting your unrealistic stuff in here...you can do it all you want, but stop derailing a good, productive thread with what basically amounts to spam.

          I bolded the ones I don't like. Jokes aside;

          Dempster to the A's? Come on. Never happening.

          Texas has enough outfield depth.

          DeJesus isn't worth a B.

          Byrd is barely worth a C, Wood is retired. Nimmo? No...

              Trying to get this thread back.

              At the deadline I managed to get Nick Swisher (who was their 4th outfielder) for David Ross, who was hitting .290 with 5 homeruns in the backup role behind Mauer, 3B Debinson Romero (Yankees starter is Eduardo Nunez. Lol) and RF Oswaldo Arcia

              I think in pure talent it might be selling Swisher short but due to the huge depth needs at C (Martin injured, Romine starting) and 3B, it still benefits the Yankees too.

                First; Getting this thread back? Just curious, what does that mean?

                Second; Sorry, but you ripped the CPU there.

                  it's basically Arcia for Swisher as Ross has no business being in this trade and the 3B i never heard of

                    i dont know why people include backup catchers in packaged trades for key prospects or star players....backup catchers belong in their own category and usually dont fetch more then a mid-C

                      Except for Jeff Mathis, he could probably fetch a few A's.

                        I wanted to give the Yankees some depth considering swisher was just sitting in the bench (30 games by July 31). With the Yankees in the playoff hunt I figured they would like to increase their chances by having someone better than Austin Romine and Eduardo Nunez as two of their starters

                            Depth < Swisher. Especially if Swisher was on the bench. Then, Swisher WAS the depth, and that depth is better than your depth.

                              sure but Swish is still a hell of a better player then Ross and whoever that 3B is combined...with them in the playoff hunt, they wouldnt be trading for Arcia

                                Ok, I see. Letting Swisher go after the year is over anyway, so this one sided trade is not going to impact for years to come
