so what's the maximum, u'd be willing to give me for JV? 1 A+2 B's? 3 high-B's? etc.

I'd rather keep Norris/Synder/TDA...

I'd prefer an MLB ready starter (JJ/Peavy/Rasmus), a blue chip/almost ready prospect (i.e. Sanchez/TDA), and another quality prospect (Abreu/Hutchison).

Two other names I could throw in: Lawrence Marcus and Zack Cozart.

Cozart hit .240 w/ 7 HRs before I sent him down, but he hit .289 w/15 HRs or something like that in 2012. Highest B possible.

Marcus is my 2013 draft pick. He's a B but not sure what kind of B. He's 19 but he's a C OVR. He's got ridiculous hitting stats and a good approach. Hasn't played yet.

.... even if he was only good '06-'11, it's still pretty consistent and he's shown he can turn it around after a bad year. I'm not basing my opinion strictly on real life stats.

I wasn't using IRL '12 stats.. that's what I was getting at.

Why wouldn't they want to take JJ.. if the Jays are willing to deal him and the Tigers still get a very good deal, why not take a veteran replacement because they are in contention? haha

NFG, do you think this is a realistic trade to pull in the offseason? or do you think the Tigers would try to wait until the trade deadline to try to get even more value out of Verlander or keep him for the playoffs if he's doing well?

OK, this is getting to be another ridiculously long debate lol, so I'll try to end it right here.

JJ + Rasmus + Sanchez

OR

Peavy + Nicolino + Rasmus + Sanchez

For the record, Rasmus hit .275/30 (approx) after a .280/40 (approx) 2012. Could play LF/CF. Hard to get better value.

If it makes any difference, I'm extremely open to trading Rasmus. Would love to get Fowler in CF w/ Anderson or Marisnick in LF.

Tell me what I'd have to put in to keep Synder.

If it makes a difference, Marc Hulet's contacts had a ceiling for Sanchez at Verlander, and a floor at Garza. I'd put his floor a little lower, but having seen him in person... I agree that he could be excellent.

ok any guy nearing 30 is no bueno for me lol... so to answer Geno's question, if im getting an offer i cant refuse now, i wudd have to seriously listen.....although i wuddnt be opposed to giving JV till the trading deadline to up his value either...i just hate putting faith in a damn CPU to HOPEFULLY sim some good stats
