The Royals, Rangers, D-Backs, and Brewers could be potential fits if they're contending.Comment

Him and Hutch > Alvarez, although I like Hutch around Worley. Worley and Hutch are injured though. Which I already stated. Injuries aren't to be taken lightly."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

I can see Worley and Hutchison being similar but thought Hutchisons injury could be more of an issue than Worley. And from a Jays stand point, I would say Vance Worley is regarded as being ahead of both Hutchison and Alvarez, as Worley would be a starting #5 probably over Happ (or atleast compete) as Alvarez or Hutchison would be fighting for#6 as depth and minor league arms until needed.Last edited by MLB Bob; 12-11-2012, 07:54 PM.Comment

I agree injuries are always a concern but Hutchisons was much worse and agree alvarez is the worst of the 3. Alvarez is a boardline starter after last year. His lack of strike outs will backfire quick if he ever is on a very poor defensive team, due to the contact he generates. As for Hutchison, he's young but he's not looking to be much more than #3 tops at his peak.

Hutch showed some real nice flashes and I'm pretty worried about Worley, if he pitched through an injury rather than getting it operated like Hutch, although Worley is the better pure pitcher. Alvarez is gonna be alright in the Marlins' park.
But, alas, this is off topic."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

What would it take to get Chase Anderson from the Diamondbacks??? I'm assuming not much because they are stacked on pitching depth.Comment
