Hey Totte, I forgot to mention Lohse. Have any ideas at what teams would want him? Thanks. I am pretty bad at this trade stuff.

            Morales: .292 BA, 9 HR, 30 RBI

            Any ideas?
Depends on teams in need of a 1B/DH for Morales. SF could use a upgrade at 1B if Belt is struggling. The Rockies if they are actually in the hunt (never are in my franchise), or maybe a team with their 1B/DH on the DL for a extended period (in mine the Tigers, but I traded them Montero instead). As far as what they are worth, again depends on the team, are they just going to be a rental player for the year, or will they fit long term.

In my Opinion I would keep Morse, M's fans like him, he likes Seattle and well he doesn't provide great D in the OF, he could move to 1B/DH to replace Morales, (whom I don't see the M' spending them money to keep) However if you are set on trading him, again look at teams in need of some power in their OF. Maybe Tampa Bay if they are in the East race (he could play 1B, OF, or DH)

Again as far as what they are worth checkout the spread sheet on Page 1. Morales is good for 2 low B prospects. Morse for a low B and a C.

Would need to know what teams before I start throwing out names and also maybe what are you looking to get (SP,a SS, younger OF?)

Just some names for you if you'd like some pitching back in the deal
I think I'll go with Scheppers, Pirates failed to sign him a few years back when they drafted him in the second round. I was looking at Gearrin too as well prior to you posting that too, just think Scheppers would be very nice to have.

Just a quick question. Is there a formula that determines values on the spreadsheet if something doesn't match up. What I mean is if a player calls for two High Bs and you have a low A and low B does that equal out? I don't have any specific players in mind, was just wondering if it was somewhere listed what that values added together equaled up to.

No not really. More of a feeling basis on that. Two high C's is one low B. Two low B's are a high C and so on.

Anyone up for it can make a little table of how to add two values together into one and post it here. Would be a nice addition if you ask me

The only player with a true trade value here is Marrero as Coyle and Anderson are nothin more than quad A players. Try Barnes/Ranaudo, Marrero and Lavarnway.

Lavarnway is a good fit and Peacock OK but I would think the Cubs could insist on a better guy than Kalish (old prospect). He's only a high C but either Nava or Daniel Bard...both players that Theo brought in to Boston would be interesting for them to go after in a trade

Agreed. He brings a really good heater to that backend if your bullpen and like you said, the Rangers could use a guy like Wandy in your chise = perfect fit

I think Deuce2223 broke it down nicely for you. Either guy is a fit for Tampa although I'd focus on moving Morales first as Morse offers more versatility to your lineup. Gamble on former top prospect Tim Beckham in return along with a 20/20 potential in Brandon Guyer?

Send Morse to the Mets for Niewenhuis and Meija/Familia?
