Started a side chise with the Giants, last week in May. 2 game up on the Padres. Do the Giants have enough to get Giancarlo? Or make a major move?

      Probably not, their farm sucks.

I wouldn't say sucks. They still have alot of potential in Crick and Brown. Just not enough legit prospects to do it.

The Angels farm can be classified as "sucks"

Ha yeah, the farm system is pretty bad. Looking to make a move this up coming month or before the trade deadline. Even though they don't have much are any of these names attainable by the deadline Cano, Lee, Rios and Garza? I do like it to be kinda realistic, but mostly looking for 100% fair. So far in my season the Phils are 3rd 6 gb of division. Yanks are 4th 8 gb of division. Sox are 3rd 8 gb of division and Cubs well they're the Cubs. Ha.

Garza and Rios you can get for a fair price.

            Garza- Blackburn, Heston

            Rios- Willett

I'm not super familiar with what prospects the Giants have to offer, but there has been a lot of buzz about the Giants going after Ricky Nolasco in Miami. Just a suggestion for a SP to look at that would probably be a very realistic option.

Thanks man, hopefully they stay healthy til mid to late June.

Also was thinking of sending Brown, Blackburn and Crick to the Phils for Lee. Or the Yanks (incase they get out of the race) for Cano? Probably would not be resigning Cano, as I'm hopeful Panik can take over 2nd next year. I could probably trade more for each, don't really know how to assess Cano since I'll be renting him.

One last thing, Timmy what can I get for him? I hate pitching with him. He's doing better in the game than in real life though, so far 2-3 3.29 era. Keeps us in the game for the most part. I put him on the block, the Pirates, Angels and Phillies are interested in him. Would Cron (LAA) or Polanco (PIT) be good or too much. Am I overvaluing/under. Thanks in advance

I saw this as well. I think he'll end up as a Dodger. But thus far in the game he's struggling with a 4.7 era. So a mid B would be enough/low B? Not sure how to value most of these guys honestly ha

No way you can afford Cano. Try in Free Agency. Or you will have to trade Pence or the Panda for serious prospects which I doubt you'll want to do. I like the Lee trade as it makes sense and looks fair. But you should get a second opinion here.

Lincecum is worth a tiny bit more than Cron or Polanco. try adding a high C since Polanco is a high B, and another mid B along with Cron for Timmy (Probably Brian Goodwin).

Low B + High C... If he gets really cold you might be able to get away with giving less, but a 4.7 ERA in the first week of May isn't going to change his value yet.

Check out the first post of this thread. There is a spreadsheet with a lot of the players' values. You could probably draw up some rough drafts of some trades from that.

Thanks again. Here's my last one for tonight. Just sportcast managed a game and I lost Scooter for 2-3 months. Cheap 2B options? I know Carpenter is having a great year irl, in the game he's hitting .283 2 HR 8 RBI. Viable option? Others that come to mind are Bonifacio, Beckham, Jemile Weeks, Nix, Roberts (just came off the DL though). Or maybe do a Lincey + ? for Howie to the Angels? Again last one for the night. Thanks in advance again

I love the spread sheet. Differ on some though and that's where my conflict arises with the guys I either over value or under value lol But I'll take a closer look at the sheet and think of some trade ideas for some trades as I should be getting into June tonight and hopefully July sometime soon!

Utley is a good rental 2B for cheap. Probably Joe Panik straight up.
