Would Toronto be willing to take on more salary with Dunn? I won't take Happ cause i really don't like him, i picked him up last year in a franchise and i released him like 3 weeks later. And would Toronto really want Quintana (i'm open to dealing him) but they have alot of depth to their rotation already dont they? I dont know for sure cause i only know Gose & Norris in their minors.

No, we don't have a ton of depth. Lind's bad contract should offset Dunn's.

I was asking for trade advice... pardon me if I don't read every post before asking a reasonable question. Do you really expect everyone to start from the beginning of a 65+ page thread?

It's not stickied... it doesn't have a warning...

But I'm sure flexing your internet muscle is much easier than letting a well-intentioned post get by.

the first thing i did was read the first post... a lot of these threads have guidelines in which you post. he wasn't flexing an internet muscle. he was letting you know. but even if you read the last 3 or 4 pages it gets stated over and over to come with a question related to trades or a proposal.

Well this is easy to answer. This thread is for brainstorming realistic trade proposals. Your original post wasn't concerning a trade at all. So, I'd look to get your question answered in either a player progression thread or the Road to the Show (RTTS) thread. Good luck and cheers.

In the game, yes (although some people say he's projecting to be an OF anyway, but he plays 2nd just fine in MLB The Show)

I downloaded a roster with a bunch of prospects named and rated, I was able to complete the following trades with the Tigers

Omar Infante - 2b - 31 years old - 88 overall - B
Octavio Dotel - RP - 39 years old - 87 overall - A
Jordan Lennerton - 1b - 27 years old - 74 overall - B

for

Jurickson Profar - SS - 20 years old - 90 overall - A
Neftali Feliz - RP - 24 years old - 86 overall - A
Julio Rodriguez - 3B - 74 overall - A

We get a lot of off-topic stuff in here and we just try to keep the thread free of that. Plus it's harder to help someone when they're not sure what they want to do. Everyone has a different strategy in their franchises.

If you came in with something like "I'm looking for a cheap servicable Starting pitcher to use as a placeholder until Tajuan Walker comes up (hypothetically)" Then we could give you some suggestions and refer you to the trade sheet for their values.

It's quicker and easier that way and things run smoothly. Hopefully you come back to the thread, it's not like we have something better to do than concoct virtual trades :wink:

Ehh, the OF projection scares me because OAK really doesn't need another OF but if you don't have any better guys that aren't OFs, it'll do

He's the only IF that I think would have a high B on the roster. He was originally an OF and the organization are trying to get him to make the transition to 2B

It may not be the best trade. He will start regressing in the next year or 2. Unfortunately anyway.
