Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
NFG, you had like 10 consecutive posts last thread. Learn the beauty of multi-quoting lol.
Votto isn't going anywhere for anything not named Bautista, and it sure as hell isn't realistic in any case."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
So I'm guessing this thread is only to ask if a player would be traded? Not if the trade itself is fair? That's what it seems like and it seems as if people get pretty upset when you want to trade for a big name...Comment

You can make a trade, we judge. If you don't like our opinions, then do it yourself. Your franchise, your choice...Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
But why should you get upset that someone else wants to acquire a player? Instead, why not just tell them if the trade itself is fair? Assume the team wants to get rid of that star for whatever reason and let the user know how they can get them.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
If people want to acquire an all star team for a bunch nobodies, that's fine. Do it on your own time. Just don't come into a thread about realism and fairness and expect to be received kindly.
EDIT: Direct quote from the OP
The purpose of this thread is to give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism of others' trades, and for others to suggest potential trading options. However, know that if you post anything involving Harper/Strasburg/Stanton/etc, etc, then it won't be well received.Last edited by TheNumber35; 03-10-2013, 12:37 PM.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I was not a big fan of some of the acquisitions that the Red Sox made this offseason mainly Victorino and Stephen Drew, was wondering what I could get for them, Salty, and possibly John LackeyComment

I'm not doing that trade. Statdude is. I'm just putting my .02 in. I would never take on that much money. He wanted to do a firesale so we helped him and voiced our opinion. I mean, you do have a valid point, but Pujols is still Pujols. Is he good? Yes. Do I like the contract? No. Would I trade for him? No. Anyways, we are done with that part of the thread...Comment

Please refer to the spreadsheet with all player values linked at the first page of this thread. Once you've noted their value, please let us know if you're looking for any specific positions to fill while sending Lackey and his buddies packing and we can help you with namesFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

I would think you have to swallow Pujols, if you want to rebuild the Angels my three trade chips would be Trumbo, Weaver and Kendrick . Trumbo gets you a frontline young starter because of his power and control , not a FA until 2017. Rays would love Trumbo at 1b. Your talking your choice of anybody except Moore or PriceFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys, I'm back after now posting for a while. I'm starting a Mariners franchise this year, and I'm not very familiar with their team. What positions/player types should I be looking for this year?Comment
