Well Penas hit .231 avg 18 hrs 62 rbis in 84 games if it counts for anything. As for as those trades u proposed they dont fit. Both dodgers players are on the DL . Garcia is a RF and i have alot of out fielders and A's players are C rated ..

Maybe Andrew Miller in Boston, Sergio Santos in Toronto, Tim Collins in KC, Wesley Wright in Houston. Check out the Indians bullpen.. they have a few solid options and I would think they would be willing to trade any of them.
You may need to double check for realism on these.. but those are some ideas.Denver Broncos

If that didn't work, you can always check their teams for more players who are similar....Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

I don't know if this is any help but in my Astros game I sent Altuve and Austin Romine (acquired in a trade for Boesch and Gardner) to Colorado in exchange for Rutledge.
I didn't like hitting with Altuve so a fairly straight swap was the answer.Supporting Leeds United, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Lions and the Colorado Avalanche!

Screw it, k_mac, go for Santos. That slider is a thing of beauty lol, and he can go up to 96ish."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Norris is worth and B and a C ... I'm not going to package Pena with him if its goin to hurt his value ... Besides A's don't need a 1st basemanComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I am starting a Yankees Franchise and am looking to trade for a Shortstop as Derek Jeter will not be playing for much longer. I have a couple names in mind.
-Jurickson Profar
-Dee Gordan
-Trevor Story
-Billy Hamilton (move to SS)
What would I have to give up to get one of these players? I am really interested in getting Profar or Gordan but any of these players will do.Comment

Joba Chamberlain and Kevin Youkilis seems like a pretty good deal for Gordon. They both have expiring contracts and the Dodgers need a 3B and relief pitching. You already have A-Rod at 3rd anyway and losing Joba isn't going to kill you.
For Story the Rockies would want pitching, probably someone like Pineda if they're in the hunt or maybe Banuelos and Campos if they're out of it. The Reds need a catcher of the future so Gary Sanchez would probably work for Billy Hamilton.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Thinking about two trades with my Cubs franchise.
Matt Garza (5-5, 2.77 ERA, 86 K) to the Rockies for C Will Swanner and SP Tyler Matzek.
The Rockies are three games out of the wild card and Garza would be the best pitcher in their rotation by far, they currently have three SP under 80 ovr in their rotation. Does it sound fair?
Carlos Marmol (28 SV, 2.63 ERA, 31 K) to the Tigers for RP Drew Smyly.
I know Marmol sucks in real life but he's doing pretty well in the game. Right now the Tigers are using Bruce Rondon as their closer and he has a 5.26 ERA and a 1.71 WHIP so they could use an upgrade. I know Smyly is pretty highly regarded in Detroit but right now he is 2-6 with a 5.72 ERA in relief. Would they give up a struggling Smyly for a hot closer? I would move Smyly to my minor league rotation if I acquire him.
Baltimore and LA Angels could also use a closer but idk who they would give up.Last edited by Kauffman King; 07-03-2013, 11:41 AM.Comment

What about the kid they already have lined up? He's like 27, I think, and has the tools to play the position?Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
You'd probably have to give up Gary Sanchez and Mason Williams for Profar, and I don't think there are any veteran players on the Yankees that the Rangers would trade Profar for.

Do you think I could package Granderson/Hughes along with a good prospect for Profar? I would also be willing to give up Sabathia or Texeria. Trying to "rebuild" the yankees and want to make Pineda my number 1 ace and draft a 1st basemen so loosing Texeria or Sabathia would not bother me I could also move youkilis over to 1st for a year or two.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
This is how I hope my Yankees Franchise Lineup ends up in two-three years of playing it.
Catcher- Gary Sanchez
1st Base- J.R Murphy-(current catcher prospect for yankees, moving to 1st)
2nd Base- Robinson Cano
Shortstop- Jurickson Profar
3rd Base- Drafted Player
Left Field- Tyler Austin
Center Field- Mason Williams
Right Field- Slade HeathcottComment

I'm going to be starting a new franchise with the Cardinals and want a better shortstop than Kozma. What would I realistically have to give up to get Tulowitzki or someone comparable?Comment
