I have a quick and probably stupid question, sorry if it has been asked before. How do you know if they are a low, mid, or high in there potential grade? Is there like a table that explains it?

Wow that's the whole farm system lol. I may not go after him then. I was also thinking of trying to get Michael Brantley from the Indians.
It would be nice to get Stanton though because he is young, cheap and great.

Which is exactly why he commands a king's ransom.

That's the lowest offer IMO. Stanton is only 23 and has over 100 HRs. That's a fast track to a record. The team that would have the bet to offer IMO is the Mariners, so what AC said is an understatement. I believe Foltynewicz should be added too.

Under manage roster, you can sort the columns. Pick the potential one and click sort to get a full list going from the highest A to the lowest D. The top names in each letter is a high, mid is mid and low is low

Or you could use the spreadsheet that AC and Totte made.

You're a Brewers fan, right? I'd like your take on a trade I really want to make haha.

Arencibia + Izturis + Lind FOR Lucroy + Rodriguez

Arencibia is playing alright, as is Izzy, and Lind is hitting like he is in real life, a tad worse. K-Rod is CRAP and really expensive, just as expensive as Weeks, and I'm taking him on to make this more fair. Lucroy is playing.. meh. I want to say .310 OBP.. but I'm not at my PS3.

Would you call that fair and realistic? I know Lucroy is a fan favorite but I don't think that can stop anyone from being traded; John McDonald was traded, after all. But would the Brewers trade Lucroy for the right price? Brewers aren't playing too well but their pytho says that they SHOULD be, and I'm expecting them to pick it up. They're playing like an ~88 win team IIRC. They're only a couple games under .500. I could throw in more prospects if need be.

Willis was coming off a Ricky Romero-esque season, wasn't he? He was also getting paid a LOT, and I think Miggy was further ahead in arb years than Stanton. Plus, it's only 2 A's, it might even be on the low side.

If they are winning (or at least in contention for a playoff slot) I don't see them moving Lucroy at all.

If they ever decided to go full rebuilding mode, I can see them moving him but it would have to be for something like JP + prospects for Luc + K-Rod.

This being said: I don't really play the show and I don't know ratings so I am basing this off of real life.

The Brewers have Clint Coulter as a catching prospect. While not top flight, he has the possibility to be a mainstay. With Weeks (and his contract), Segura, possibly YuniB, Bianchi and Scooter Gennett clogging up the middle (and the future middle) we have no need for Izturis. Corey Hart returning and Hunter Morris in the wings would make Lind all but useless for them. Gamel is also there next year.

Aside from contract dumping and going into full-blown rebuilding mode I just don't see the Brewers moving a piece like Lucroy (fan favorite or not.) It would have to be a trade with prospects in which the Brewers come out ahead a bit.
                            bad

Oh, I forgot Singleton was a B. I made him an A before I start. DeShields should be an A, and Fonty is playing like an A or High B IRL. Overall, I don't see the Astros as a fit MLB The Show wise, because tye farm isn't as deep as Seattle's, St. Louis', and Texas'. But IRL, that wouldn't be bad.

Ubernoob, apologies if you don't know the Jays' system, but are there any prospects you particularly like that you think fit?

By the way, I'd move Hart to RF, Lind to 1B, Aoki to bench (he's been horrible).
