Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
The reason for the uggla trade is that I don't hit good with gyorko. I would be willing to trade him. Uggla gives me a little more pop I'm my lineup and I hit very well with him.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Was Jonathan Schoop drafted as a SS?
If he was I was thinking of doing a deal like this
BAL: Britton/Arrieta + Schoop (I would like Arrieta better but Britton might be more realistic)
for
MIL: Gallardo, Gennett + High C
I figure if Schoop is a natural SS Baltimore wouldn't mind moving him if they'd get their future 2B in the deal, also they get a guy who has been consistently a pretty good pitcher for the last 4 or so years.Last edited by Shock1011; 06-20-2013, 06:12 PM.| Brewers | Packers | Angels | Bucks | Badgers |Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Arrieta + Schoop + Delmonico
FOR
Gallardo + Gennett + Davis
Gallardo is equal to Schoop and Delmonico and a tiny bit of Arrieta, and the rest of Arrieta is equal to Gennett and Davis."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Speaking of the Brewers, I am done with J.P. Arencibia. I swung through EIGHT sliders down the middle with him last game I played. I can't take it anymore. He needs to go to a CPU team where he can properly cheese, or be demoted to AAA if he's not involved in a trade. I'll get stats as I am, for once, at my PS3.
May 3
Brewers 11-18
Blue Jays 14-15 (have to play the May 3 game though)
1B Adam Lind: .370 OBP, 125 wRC+ (yes, I did the calculation), 1.820 BatRuns.
C J.P. Arencibia: .215 OBP, 65 wRC+, .120 ISO (which is quite impressive considering my team ISO of .078), -4.890 BatRuns, A POT
PROSPECTS:
SpoilerSP Sean Nolin: 23 years old, 71 OVR, tier 7 B, can hit 94 from the left side, 3.23 FIP, 8.07 K/9 (I used the FIP constant IRL of 3.052 and did the legit math). I would prefer not to give him up.
C A.J. Jimenez: 23, 69 OVR, tier 6 B, incredible defensive catcher, COtF if I don't get another catcher. .259 OBP in AA so far, he's struggling coming off a minor injury.
CF D.J. Davis: 19, 65 OVR, tier 5 B, toolsy athletic CF, I forget who but a quote that sticks out in my memory is that only him and Anthony Gose could keep up with Billy Hamilton in a foot race. No stats in single A.
SP/RP John Stilson: 22, 68 OVR, tier 4 B,, righty flamethrower, 1.13 DIPS and 10.13 K/9 in AAA.
SS Dawel Lugo: 18, 53 OVR, tier 4 B, single A with no stats. Extremely nice scouting report spoilered.
SpoilerLove what he brings to the table. The natural hitting ability smacks you in the face. Really impressed with the feel for the strike zone, ability to recognize and track pitches at a young age, even though he prefers to swing a lot. You can see it working in his head. Plus hit projection is very attainable and he could blow that out of the water. Potential .290+ hitter. Power is in there and will manifest with additional physical maturation and development of his offensive approach. Has lift in the swing and bat speed for 20+ home runs, backed up by piles of doubles. Potential impact middle-of-the-order hitter with average and power. Defensive profile is an open question but has the reactions, hands and solid arm strength to support a shift to third base instead of shortstop. If body comes up short of projections, then he could survive at shortstop in a fringe-average sort of way, particularly with his bat. The development is likely to be slow, but there’s an impact big leaguer in there.
3B Mitchell Nay: 19, 56 OVR, tier 4 B, no stats in A ball. Gobs of raw power, not even fair. May not stick at 3B due to some shoddy foot and glove work, but he's got an outside shot. Hit tool will need to develop but his power is tantalizing.
SP Chase DeJong: 18, 53 OVR, tier 2 B, no stats in A ball. Safest highschooler you'll ever see, 3 average-above average pitchers. 6'4" and 185 LBS, very projectable, should be a #4 at the worst.
Jon Lucroy: .343 OBP, 144 wRC+, 2.3 BatRuns. 10.875 RF... damn. But be warned, .324 BABIP.
Francisco Rodriguez: 13.50 ERA, 1:2 K:BB ratio (4:8... ow lol), 10.00 DIPS, 2.1M salary. Negative value.
And lastly, my ace in the hole so to speak. Anthony Gose: .358 OBP in AAA, 12.336 RC (around 130 RC+), 1.615 RF, pure CF, Tier 5 A. I do NOT want to give him up... only in a dire circumstance.
Right now, I'm thinking Arencibia + Davis + Lugo for K-Rod + Lucroy, thoughts? I really want to get something done.Last edited by AC; 06-20-2013, 07:41 PM."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Thanks I love this trade.
You think moving Segura to 2B (his natural position) and moving Schoop to SS is a good idea?
EDIT: Might trade Hunter Morris since I have Delmonico and also I drafted a guy who's going to be a 72 overall right away next year. Any suggestions for Morris trades?Last edited by Shock1011; 06-20-2013, 08:13 PM.| Brewers | Packers | Angels | Bucks | Badgers |Comment
