Please check the first post in this thread. There's a spreadsheet in there you'll find useful.

Want to get Herrera from the Royals. I'm on a jays franchise, will trade a package deal if I need to.

Hey, I just started a Brewers franchise & I would like to trade for Hellickson. He is a Mid B & High C. I am not real sure who the Rays would want from the Brewers? Have any ideas? Thanks.

Florimon for Trumbo, Willingham for Price, Morneau for Cespedes, Doumit for Trout? /s

that moment when your joke fails because Florimon is roughly as valuable as Trumbo IRL

Yay I have a question for once. I plan on incorporating IFA budgets and such into my chise (30 team control ftw). How would you guys value them? High C? Whatever Ronald Torreyes is?

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

Into July in my Rockies 'chise, and I'm in need of some reinforcements. My starting 2nd baseman is out for a couple of months at least, outside of Chacin, De La Rosa, and Pomeranz, my rotation hasn't been anything special. My offense has stalled in the month of June, and Arenado has struggled at third.

I'm thinking of a blockbuster deal with Milwaukee, who has dropped off dramatically during the last month.

I'd like to pick up Gallardo, Weeks, and Ramirez. I don't know if all three might be a bit of a reach, but if I could pick up Gallardo and one of the other two, that would be great.

After much thought, I decided against a trade with the Mets, and I'm thinking of sending Story, Nicasio, Tyler Anderson, and catching prospect Tom Murphy to Milwaukee. That would be a mid-A, mid-B, low-B, and mid-B. Suggestions for some other pieces?

Unfortunately, I don't have any stats in front of me at the moment. I can tell you off the top of my head that Gallardo has a win/loss record below .500 and an ERA of 4.50+. Weeks is hitting for good power, but a mediocre batting average (as per usual), and Ramirez is hitting right around .300 with a dozen home runs. Like I said, those are rough numbers based off my memory.

Do y'all think I have the pieces to pull off a move like this? Or, should I focus on one or two players from a couple of teams?

Sorry for the long post, but I think if anyone can give me some guidance on where I should go with this, it would be you guys.

                        Thanks!

I can tell you two things. One, we need stats. Two, win loss record means nothing lol.

True, but it was all I could recall off the top of my head. Lol.

Like I said, as soon as I can get The Show booted up, I'll toss some stats your direction.

Not sure I understand what you're asking. You're adding IFA budgets or players? Obviously you wouldn't put a letter grade on a budget.

Some prospect people seem to believe the value of IFAs is lower as you get younger and the guys' RttS gets longer. For most, I'd use high C as a ceiling, with many as D's and lower C's. Obviously the advanced Cuban guys who get big money deals are an exception (Cespedes, Puig, that new guy who just defected).

I'm not sure. The Rockies really have no blue chip pitching prospects, and all of their better ones are 24 or 25 already it seems. You may be able to put together a package around Dahl rather than Story (since the Brewers have Segura at SS), but the Brewers would probably want a good SP prospect if they were to package Gallardo/Ramirez/Weeks all together, or even for 2 of those 3. Story and Herrera would have value to the Brewers if they could play 2B or 3B full time.

Sorry, IFA budget space. You can trade for that now. Like the Ronald Torreyes deal. I think. Damn CBA.
