We are flattered by your interest in Carlos but we view him as a cornerstone for our franchise for years to come....Under no circumstance will he be calling anywhere home but Houston for the forseeable future

      Hello Mr. RANDOM

How is the air up there hahaha, just a little Rockies humor. The Yankees have been feeling a bit uncomfortable with the negative media attention we have been getting due to one of our players. He is an older player with some baggage that we believe can bring some fans to the seats in Colorado. We are willing to pay 75% of his contract so that we can move him and just keep in mind the great numbers he can produce in that stadium.

We are talking about Alex Rodriguez[/b]. Once again we believe he will be an offensive asset in your stadium. He would be able to play 3B, SS. The deal would look like this:

      Yankees Receives: 3B Nolan Arenado

      Rockies Receives: 3B/SS Alex Rodriguez

Thank you for reviewing this offer…

We appreciate you contacting us about the possibility of acquiring Anthony DeSclafani. As you might have guessed, we are also very high on Mr. DeSclafani, and that was why we insisted on his inclusion in the Reyes/Buehrle/Johnson deal. A deal can certainly be worked out, but unfortunately, we're not interested in Abraham Almonte. We currently have 3 top outfield prospects in our system, as well as Giancarlo Stanton. Please consider this counterproposal:

          MARINERS GET:
          SP Anthony DeSclafani

          MARLINS GET:
          RP Lucas Luetge
          3B Joseph DeCarlo

Infield is where we are truly weakest in our minor league system as it currently stands, and we would love to bolster that if we could. Obviously, counter-proposals are always welcome, and we look forward to hearing from you.

With opening day literally just behind us. Here in New York we have a big void in the OF. After trading Johan to Baltimore in Spring for a young OF in Avery, but we feel he is still 2 years away.

Noticing Yasiel Puig had a great spring and the log jam in your OF, we would love to see what you're looking to get for Andre Either.

                Good Evening,

I am sure you are sick of getting calls regarding Giancarlo Stanton. The Padre organization is looking to reshape our image and fill the stands up with fans. We are very interested in acquiring Stanton. At this moment, we are looking to protect Headley and have a monster power bat in the middle for this season and the future. Carlos Quentin will not be around forever so we are looking for that power presence. If a sign/trade could get worked out, we have a package we think you may be interested in. At this moment we do not want to do the trade but are offering this package if you wanted to scout and consider for the future. Maybe around the trade deadline if we are in the hunt.

                To Padres: Giancarlo Stanton
To Marlins: C Austin Hedges, SP Max Fried, RF Will Venable and RP Joe Thatcher

Austin Hedges is considered one of our very best prospects. We feel he will have a strong future but really like the production we are getting from Yasmani Grandal. If you wanted someone more MLB ready, we have Nick Hundley to give.

Max Fried is a very young power arm but still very far away. He has top of the rotation potential if you can wait for him to arrive.

Venable can instantly fill in for Stanton. Although he won't give you the power numbers, he is an MLB proven player with speed and great range in the field.

Joe Thatcher is a left handed relief pitcher that can fit the LOOGY role perfectly.

Not trying to add clutter, but after some observing, I thought I'd just post this in case people did not know since I am seeing lots of 2012 draftees being offered up and/or inquired about. FYI, players cannot be traded until they've been in the organization for 1 year, so guys like Fried and Correa do not come available until late-June/July, if in fact they would be traded at all. So, a deadline deal would be ok for 2012 draftees, but an April/May/early-mid June trade wouldn't be possible.

I would suggest sending a private message. I don't check this thread everyday so a PM would get my attention to get back in here. I'd do it for you but AC won't allow more than one team at a time because of a fool messing it up last year. Regardless, if he doesn't answer a PM by say, Tuesday, PM me and I'll do it this one time.

*Technically,* they can be included in trades as a PTBNL. Example: Kevin Comer and the (terrible) J.A. Happ trade.

                            Good day.

Our organization would like to discuss with you the availability of a few of your prospects. We understand that you guys are really trying to make a run at it this year and playing in such a solid division, it looks like you'll be needing all of the help that you can get.

While it is very early in the season, the early returns for us are certainly not encouraging and let's face it, our team isn't getting any younger. We also understand that you guys recently brought Valverde back on a minor league deal. Perhaps he can bounce back, perhaps not. We propose a deal that would help shore up the back end of your pen as well as help us get younger at a key position, with two additional pieces that may contribute to our club in the future.

                            Our offer:

                            Tigers get: Johnathan Papelbon
Phillies get: Nick Castellanos, Danry Vasquez, Jake Thompson

Your organization would be securing Mr. Papelbon's services for just shy of three years time. Because of this fact we feel that the inclusion of Vasquez and Thompson make this a very even trade.

Mr. Papelbon's tenacity and desire to win are unquestionable. He would be a key addition to your championship caliber club.

                            Thank you for your time.

                            Signed,

Rube the Boobs much more competent replacement

                              Subject: Giancarlo Stanton

                              Good morning,

We are happy to discuss a trade for Giancarlo Stanton with you. After all, discussion can never hurt, and maybe we can work something out. Of course, we constantly receive proposals for Mr. Stanton, and as a result, are looking for the best possible deal we can make for him.

Unfortunately, we are not interested in this proposal. This is not nearly enough in return for the best young hitter in baseball, especially since we will not be planning to contend in the near future if we part with our superstar. We have no interest in either Thatcher or Venable; they may be veterans, but they also are not very good. We are looking to bring back several prospects for Mr. Stanton, and don't have much need for mediocre veterans.

If you wish to discuss this proposal further, feel free to let us know, and we will make a counterproposal.

                              Thank you.
