If you were insisting a Plouffe for Banuelos swap, we are a little uninterested. We would consider it more if we got some more value for Banuelos. Are you set on getting rid of Plouffe? What is your view on Aaron Hicks with Buxton in the system?
Thanks,

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Thread 2013 Edition
TO: Cincy Reds GM
FROM: Cleveland Indians GM
SUBJECT: Billy Hamilton
I am inquiring about the availability of your young speedster, Billy Hamilton. It is no secret that he has star quality and may be the fastest player in all of baseball but does he really have a position for you? Too many errors in the infield and a weak arm means you've moved him to CF where I hear he is "learning."
Why don't you let us help you, while you help us in return? We have a starting quality CF in Michael Brantley who already has experience in the Show and is a real "team player" plus a few younger prospects with very bright futures ahead of them, such as Dorssys Paulino.
Why don't we do a Brantley + Paulino swap for Hamilton?
Thanks,
Cleveland
(as the only acting Rep for Cincy, I'm having difficulty with this one; anybody want to step-in?)Comment

Looking at Hague's history, we're not too high on him. However we will trade you Willingham if you put Tony Renda in this place.
So the offer is: Ian Krole and Tony Renda for Willingham.

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Thread 2013 Edition
I guess your right. Lol just didn't understand perfectly how the thread worked.
Travis D'arnaud is easily up for grabs, but Wheeler is off limits unless completely necessary. it's Midseason and Cargo is hitting 290ish (I wouldn't trade for him if he wasn't anyway) I called Zack Wheeler up and he's got an ERA a bit over 4, but Buck is an all star so D'arnaud is still in AAA. Mets are 4.5 games behind the Braves and the Rockies are 10 games back.Comment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Thread 2013 Edition
TO: Clorado Rockies
FROM: Mets
Subject: Cargo
Were interested in acquiring Carlos Gonzalez. It seems like a trade between us make all the sense in the world. The Rockies (now 13 gb) are inching their ways farther and farther out of playoff contention. We realize that we need to take any opportunity we can get to make the playoffs, and as a team famous for choking in the second half of the season we would like to ensure this happens. I'll start by offering you Travis D'arnud a rare top catching prospect, Matt Den Dekker who is an above average fielder nearly ready for the majors, but his bat lacks the the ability were seeking, and lastly Jenrry Mejia who's been below average with a 4.26 ERA (but video game wise the potential is still there)
Edit: I should mention that Wilin Rosario was hitting 230 until this point, and got injured at the end of June. He's out for the season and if he continues to perform badly upon his return you can always look for a trade to make room for Travis. I'm telling you this trade just fits so well.Last edited by SmooveMove; 04-24-2013, 07:21 PM.Comment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Thread 2013 Edition
TO:Miami Marlins
FROM:Indians
Subject: Ricky Nolasco
We are here to discuss Ricky Nolasco. At the time, you guys are 20 games below .500 and 16 games out in the division. Clearly there is a lot of work to be done and Nolasco being a free agent is not going to be part of the rebuild. Why let him walk if you can get something for him?
We view him as a solid addition to our rotation for the pennant chase. But since he is a free agent we are not willing to pay a huge price for him.
Our offer for Nolasco is 21 year old 3B Giovanny Urshela and 26 year old Reliever Chen Lee. Urshela is a B potential player batting .328, 3, Homers, and 12 steals in AA. Lee is a B potential pitcher who is ready for a call up from AAA having 23 saves with a 1.85 ERA in AAA.
Nolasco for you guys is 7-4 woth a 4.07 ERA
Thanks for your time,
Chris AntonettiComment
