On a side note, you mentioned trying hitting for the user at -10/+3, how did that work out for you? Were there too many homeruns? Lastly, what are you running with at Batter Plate Discipline? I see 2 options from +5 to -1, I want some strikeouts but I dont want good hitters flailing at junk in the dirt constantly so I was curious what you were running with here. Sorry for so many questions, just wanted to avoid spending a ton of time messing with sliders so I figured I would pick your brain a little.

There are some things I am trying out but I want to be convinced they are for the positive otherwise it just adds confusion. So for now just hang tight!

Still currently at +3. I was checking something out at +5.

      Scrapped it.

I like the +5 setting. The cpu takes pitches and you can get them looking at strike 3 sometimes if you mix things up properly.

Nemesis, these sliders are awesome. I have had such a variety of games with them. One game I lost 1-0, while the next was a blow-out, with me winning 12-1.

Great job on these. I also really like the amount of home runs. I have gotten a very realistic amount for my tastes.

I just wanted to thank you for these.

              Re: HOF Sliders (Project Nemesis)

Hi guys. I got a PS3 and 2k7 last year and thought it was allright but I'm looking to make the switch to MLB '08 this year. I bought 07 on ebay and it should be here pretty soon and I defenitely want some good sliders and I understand these to be the best. I've been playing baseball games pretty hardcore since Tony LaRussa on the PC but I don't think I'll be ready for HOF straight out the box. Will these sliders still be good on a lower level or does the game play its best baseball on HOF?

              Thanks.

They really play best on HOF. If there is anything I can do to help you get started let me know!

                Welcome to the Show!

Much appreciated. I love a real game of baseball and I'm looking forward to giving '07 a try. I'm sure regardless I'll be tempted to buy both the first Tuesday in March (which can't come soon enough by the way).

Nemesis, sorry if you answered this already,I see that you have the starter slider at default but have you had any complete games with your starters? Does this effect the CPU starters(I do not see a fatigue slider for the CPU)? If you had no complete games what is the highest pitch count for a starter that you can recall? Thanks

I have had a handful of complete games at most. Generally my pitch counts are up into the 100 pitch range by the 7th or 8th inning. Sometimes sooner! The cpu does not have a slider to adjust pitching fatigue unfortunately!

quick question here. I am fairly new to the game, will I get creamed every game if I put these on? meaning, are they that advanced. but then again, I can just give them a whirl.

Start on a lower difficulty level until you get used to the game. Starting at the highest level where the sliders are tilted against you sounds like a tough start to me.

im on the one just above rookie, and do pretty good. My patience is finally returning. I was a former 2k7 owner who made that mistake of buying that game.
