Hit my first HR without using the power swing today, with Tex. Low inside fastball from Ervin Santana found its way in the right field seats.

I also switched to classic pitching from meter and while it was erratic at times it was refreshing. The Angels scattered 9 hits but could only plate one and I won 3-1. I think they were batting .137 with RISP....Pitching was MUCH harder but I still managed to K five guys with Javier Vazquez.

Santana struck me out 9 times...I just can't seem to generate walks even in 3-0 counts they seem to come back and make perfect pitches...I make them throw me two strikes when I get into a 3-0 count too.

Ya, classic pitchng a 1000% harder than the meter. It's so erratic but I love it! Give the HUM batting sliders a shot I changed. I hit 2 HRs with the Cubs the game I played using them.

With contact slider all the way down, it's basically nullified, or cancelled out by the solid hits slider at 9. With the solid hit slider at 9, it helps generate more power, thus more HRs by me finally! Should've just started out with my 09 sliders, especially for hitting and would've been just fine. Game basically plays the same...

FYI... Just BLASTED a 2 run HR in my Rockes chise with Seth Smith 1st inning. 429 feet upper deck in Washington!! I'm tellin ya, the new hitting sliders are gonna make a huge difference! Maybe too much power now and will have to lower power to 9 lol...Im good for now though

Just blasted another 2 run HR to right with Brad Hawpe 396ft this time lol... Livan Hernandez is gettin rocked early. 15mph wind straight out though so that may be helping a little, but I've hit some far ones so it's not helpin those much. Gonna play a few more games and if i keep hiting them I'll HAVE to lower power down a notch

EDIT: Zimmerman and Dunn went back to back on me to make it 4-2 nw. Ball is just flyin out of the park this game

EDIT #2: back to back to back against me! OMG this is the craziest first inning I've ever seen! 5 HRs in 1 inning lol

lol yeah he will probably be like Troy Glaus, a lot of homers, K's and low average but he is better at defense. Oh yeah and good sliders Trinity, these look a lot like my adjustments I made and I tried these last night and had a good couple of games

Glaus's value is that he hits for some power AND walks. Wood doesn't hit for power, doesn't hit for average and strikes out a TON. It really is that simple. Don't be overly influenced by Wood's big numbers in a hitter's league, the Pacific Coast League. Now, if he had put up big offense numbers in the Florida State league, that would be impressive. 4A player.

Just had a wild game with these! 9 HRs total in the game, 5 by me! I lowered HUM power to 9, but just happy we finally have power! Hi variety is good as well, so don't worry about solid hits at 9. Contact at zero i believe is cancelled out by solid hits being high.

I went with your updated ones and tweaked solid hits by decreasing it by one and here were my results:

Analysis

Very entertaining game indeed I was down 4-2 in the top of the eighth after Nelson Cruz drove a ball into the LF seats off Robertson. In the bottom half of the inning Swisher hit his second HR of the game to tie it up at 4-4 and finally ARod hit one in the same place Cruz did an inning earlier after hitting two foul ball HRs in the 5th and 7th, respectively. He was due.

Pitching was great on both sides, walks were issued, I still suck with struck outs but being the Yanks saves me I guess...

Might need to lower timing to 6, and raise contact or something. after going to 7 i hit for 16 hits, at 5 i had 2 lol

Ya i know it looks crazy but works great for me. Playing in a game now, and its tied 3-3 bottom of the 7th. Only 1 HR all game by me, and that was to tie it at 3 in the 5th. I use classic pitching, so have no clue about meter pitching. I think classic is more realistic, cuz its randomly erratic at times like a real life pitcher can be.

I was struggling bad offensively, so had to change something. Then I remembered I didnt have trouble last year, and overall it played great. Just went back to my #s last year for HUM hitting. I did lower power to 9, cuz it was at 10 last year, which is too high this year.

With contact at ZERO it seems to work out just fine. Sold hits at 9 I believe cancels out the contact at zero. Seeing great hit variety as well so far. What level do you play on??? cuz I play on veteran

Ya, well I've decided that they're going to catch the ball if their supposed to if that makes sense. I raised it so they can get to a ball in the gap or down the line quicker. I was seeing triples on balls hit that should've just been doubles imo.

Ya, went back to the sliders I had for human hitting last year. Working alot better now. Like I tell everyone though, just use sliders posted on here as a base, everyone has their own skill levels and will have to change them around to their level and liking. Give these new ones a shot though, they work great! I was an so were others, having trouble hitting HRs, so that's the reason for the change. Had to actually lower power to 9, cuz at 10, I hit 6 HRs in 2 games(4 in one.)

i play on veteran also, and im having a hard time offensively, after that one 16 hit game, i have hit only 3 times in the next 4 games against the ROYALS!!! and im 3-10 in the season. (my fans are down to like 7,000 a game Maybe ill give them sliders a chance that you have. How are your batting averages? i dont really wanna be batting 400 lol but also not 193 like i am now. so you do see ground balls choppers and doubles and what not with contact at 0 and solid hits at 9?
right now i have them all at 7, but maybe ill change it. i wanna pound the ball and work down instead of working up.

yeah ill give them a shot tonight, i have yet to hit a double. but i was hitting HR pretty easy so maybe ill do some more tweaking with them if i start hitting 10 a game lol ill keep ya posted on how they worked for me
