I don't know if I have ever hit into a double play on a bunt in any show game before because I find even if you don't put a good bunt down instead of throwing to second to try to start a double play the CPU will still just throw the ball to 1st base.

Have you guys tried hIs Hybrid slider adjustment?

I've hit into DPs with pitchers attempting to sacrifice.

A lot of times, yeah they will just get the out at first. But sometimes they do try to turn the double play off it.

I never had this problem until this year's game. I've yet to successfully sac bunt with the pitcher through 10 games, it's weird that it's consistently double plays for myself. I have fielding and throwing on auto and when the cpu lays down a sac bunt my guys never even attempt to turn the double play yet the cpu does every single time.

Right on. I have to switch to that about two or 3 times a year for a game or two. I also am a stern believer in that your hitting camera means everything. Often, when lining up a custom camera the first thing on your mind is to adjust it for the best view of balls and strikes, but (IMO) this also messes with your point of contact a bit. If your late a lot, try retro but move it back all the way (and probly tilt it up a little). Most this season I've been using offset 2 moved all the way back. Works great.

Yea, I think he mentioned it in a post. Turn hitting to Veteran, and make the following changes:

                  Con-4
                  Pow-4
                  Timing-4

                  Cpu Ctr-3
                  Cpu Cons-2

Try it for at out it works for me

I need some advice right now. So I have been playing on HOF for about 5 games now and I cant hit any thing. I have only scored like 9 runs in those games. On All star I find hitting a little to easy and I never strike out. On HOF I do strike and I know that 5 games is a small sample size out but the problem I am finding is I cant time any thing well on HOF more so fastballs. I am always late on fastballs on HOF. Like right now I am playing a game vs CPU and I am facing a pitcher who has average fastball speed and after 4 innings I have been late on the fastball 18 times and like half of those pitches right down the middle. I am playing with fastball speed at 5 and off speed at 7. What should I do? I have all hitting sliders other then my foul ball slider at default. Should I lower my fastball speed to like 3 or 4 or should I up my timing slider to 6? Any advice Armor or any one else?

Those settings might work, but just to clarify, this is what Armor suggested for veteran in an earlier post

Hi, Armor, I've been playing default all-star for hitting and pitching. I also use timing hitting and classic pitching. I've played 64 games so far in my franchise. I'm 20 games above 500, but still tied with Pittsburgh. I play with the cubbies.

There two things that are bothering me about the game. Pitching is way too easy. I lead the league in era with a 2.41. I find it kind of boring. Pitching shutout after shutout, and every now and then giving up 4 or 5 runs. My second thing is hitting homeruns. I've already hit about 100 homeruns. I've figured it up and if I stay on this pace, I will average more than 240. My batting team batting average is not that good .240.

Part of me wants to stick with it, but I also would like to quit and try somebody's sliders. I haven't even downloaded the osfm rosters yet.

I've used your sliders last year and for the most part really enjoyed them. Do you think I would like them this year? I was really trying hard just to stick with all-star default, but my enjoyment level with the game has decreased.

Last year's game I was about the middle of the pack in homeruns. Of course, pitching last year was a little easy too. That's when I decided to give your sliders a whirl.

Are you hitting more homeruns in this year's game also?

Sorry about the long post. Just had to vent a little.

I had the same experienced you had on all star and moved to HOF better challenge.

Base runner speed on 3 is the only thing I'm questioning. Lots of hits off the wall and down the line that are only singles. But I'm the Jays and I don't have any real speedsters.
