using your last year sliders as a base for this year. Let me know if you would like me to test or post box scores or anything if you don't manage to snag a copy early

      Nice score MLamm16!

If you would like to post box scores here and give impressions using last years set great.

But the most important question I have is.....do you play with the exact settings of Directional Hitting, Classic Pitching, auto fielding, manual throwing? If yes....please give impressions in this thread on how last years settings are working for you!

Also please let me know if that slow mo camera shows up on steals even though we do not use button accuracy nor any throwing meters in our set up. Also how are check swing strike appeals going so far? Pop out to catchers (are they still cheetahs?) passed balls bouncing right back to catcher off the walls? Is it pinball like 16? Those were the little annoyances from 16.

      Appreciate the feedback!!!

Ramone confirmed that slow motion on steals would only be on close plays.

            Sorry out of town yesterday, heres a few things before i post some boxes;

-I play with the same exact settings as the ones that you have posted.

-I've played about 15 games and there is a noticeable difference in pop-ups behind the plate and little dribblers right in front of it. As in I've barely seen any. It's like night and day compared to last year.

-On passed balls I haven't seen any direct pinball like effects, but most of the passed balls that I have seen have squirted out left and right, only a few making it to the backstop.

-During steals you don't have the little minigame set up but it does slow down on close plays like stated above.

Overall I'm really enjoying last years sliders as a base. I personally had to lower the CPU Power down a tick just because it seems that I am being punished more for leaving things over the plate, but as my rust wears off I'm probably going to move it back to its original setting.

I am curious about how much the wind effects the game this year with all of the new types of hits being implemented in this years game.

Wind definitely needs to be default or lower.

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino's MLB The Show 16 Timed/Classic Simulation Sliders

I put your sliders in for my first game last night thinking they were for 17. It's a pretty good base to start with. I had Cole Hamels facing Felix Hernandez. A few impressions.....

**I didn't get my first hit until the 6th. I couldn't really make any solid contact until I had Hernandez' pitch count in the 70s-80s. I lost 4-1 with 4 hits to their 7. Hernandez pitched a full eight innings. What suprised me was that after stringing together a few hits in the 7th, Seattle didn't pull him. In years past, he would have been yanked after the first hit that late in the game....

**I was walked about 4-5 times. I was even able to draw back to back walks at one point. The only thing Hernandez left around the middle of the plate were hanging curves. Not to many mistakes or meatballs until I ran his pitch count up....

**I use meter pitching. I want some human input to go into pitching. Around the 60 pitch count and 6th inning for Hammels, he began to get very inaccurate. I started off the inning with a single. The next two batters are walked on pitches that were nowhere near where I wanted them to go. Cano comes up and after a 3-1 count he hits a meatball to the left center wall that clears the bases. It seams like as the pitcher's energy goes down, you get punished more for not getting perfect accuracy....

**No matter what I kept getting a very early on chageups. Even when I recognized the pitch and tried to stay back. That was Hernandez' best pitch because of that....

**Didn't really get a chance to test the fielder's arm strength. I did have a runner, can't remember who, tag up from 2nd on a ball hit to the wall at Dyson in LF. No steal attempts from either team. I always do hit and runs. Jarrod Dyson reached first twice and 2nd once with Leonys Martin on 1st. Fwiw, I had a runner on 2nd (can't remember who) with two outs. Went for the hit and run but I hit it hard to third who had time to still get the runner going to 2nd...

Working on that changeup slider. I noticed it right away as well.

Remember I test these exclusively on classic pitching so meter may not be where you want it. But I am sure these are a good base for meter pitching as well. You just may have to tinker some more.

Also getting used to this frame rate. It’s taking some getting used to hitting wise.

Unfortunately it slows down on for sure outs as well sometimes. Had a guy out by a mile and it slowed. Didn't look good.

Excited to dive into these this weekend man!
