One thing I should have mentioned, I hit on HOF and it's really unforgiving and I mean really unforgiving. It definitely increased my strikeouts as there are numerous occasions every game when you swing with good timing, with a guy with high vision and he will whiff completely. It can be frustrating at times and you'll question the sliders as you go through extreme peaks and valleys but in the long run it's worth it if you're winning too much on All-Star like I was. Since moving to HOF my teams batting average has really come down to earth, HR's are tougher, I'm striking out more and the game is overall much more difficult. I'm only 16-19 since moving to HOF hitting with 35 HR's in 34 games and hitting .279 as a team compared to the .313 I was hitting the first month of the season on All-Star.
It's pretty tough on HOF like I said, striking out on good timed pitches that are right over the plate happens and happens far more frequently. You'll have a lot more instances of guys getting the pitch you're looking for only to hit a weak grounder or loft a lazy fly ball for an easy out. On the flip side then you'll have moments where someone like Kurt Suzuki and his sub 50's power hits a walkoff HR to win the game and for that brief moment everything is right again lol. It really is sporadic and varied to the extreme, not to mention I do feel like the CPU SP's ratings matter more on HOF. Previously I faced Yu Darvish on All-Star and I would beat him up everytime, he wouldn't strike me out and I'd chase him from the game early. On HOF I faced him for the first time and he had a more typicals stat line with high strikeouts, mixed his pitches up better and his H/9 rating played more true to the rating. Then I faced a guy with a sub 60's H/9 rating and he gave up 10 hits in 5 IP and I finished the game with 16 hits so it is at least possible to have those games where the offense comes alive.
