Ha! Are you using the new "V.13"?

Contact raised to 6 w/ solid hits @ 9 may be a bit strong?

      Again, only one game...

I have been up to date with the sliders as they've gone on, so started with solids at 5 and have ramped up to 9 over time, also have had contact at 5 up until I made the move to 6 myself two nights ago. Put power to 1 at the same time as currently Freeman has 10 home runs out of 18 I've hit and no one else ever feels like a legit threat! I don't know if I'm just not as good with the zone cursor movements as on past games or what but I don't remember the last drive to the gap for a double, even the limited number I've had have all been down the lines...so I need any help I can get!!!

Other than that, I have everything the same except timing because I'm struggling that much! I still love the set. It's the first time in 9 years with the show that I've enjoyed losing and haven't felt like I could just win at will...and when you're a braves fan, as over the last couple of years, that's saying something!!

I recently dropped fielder run speed to 1 and upped base runner speed to 3 just to try to pump up BAPIP any was possible, wasn't seeing hardly any infield hits and many balls down the line were not going for doubles that I thought should.

I also upped human power to 1 (zone) and I'm seeing my huge pop up problem improve. With the power at 0 I felt like a lot of the balls I hit well were not going anywhere. I had 18 HR through 20 games so not bad but through a few games my BAPIP has been around .300 so hopefully might be something to that.

CPU hitting in general just needs to feel more threatening, was going to ask you what you thought about going to legend so glad your on the same page. Even with control way down you can pretty much throw strikes at will so getting realistic numbers comes down to the CPU to be threatening enough that you want to nibble enough to walk people.

Anyways just a few comments but overall I think these are very competitive (at least for me) and could be great with a few more tweaks.
This is spot-on. I couldn't agree more with these points. Let's see how v1.13 works with the new patch.

Did I read that the catcher blocking was improved, but it only mentions online?!?!! What about franchise mode????

Do you have user timing at 2?

That was the issue I saw in some of the slider sets here I used a few years ago. Never struck out, never lost, and gee...the guy who posted the slider thread made the playoffs again. Go fig!

If this did get fixed, we'll be able to once again lower user pitcher consistency which will help with more walks too.

We'll see. I just had a wild pitch way wide from the CPU that scored a run. No one was going to block that one.

                        Yes...

The ONLY variations to your sliders & settings are from using a variation of "retro " cam & I have the PCI / feedback turned off...

Wouldn't test sliders with any variations...

Updated to v1.14 post-patch. Sliders in the vault.

Hot zones back on to preview always (your catcher still previews strike zone anyway, so having hot zones off seemed moot)

                          Human power +1 to 1
                          Human timing +1 to 3
Human foul frequency -1 to 4
Human pitcher consistency for user and AI to 4 (think I already had this on v1.13, but patch didn't seem to help much here, so just reiterating)

Last game on v1.13 I walked 4 of their batters and struck them out 8 times which is terrific. While hitting, I also struck out 8 times which was terrific as well, but only had 7% foul balls. I'm looking to balance that a bit more here in v1.14. I also think lowering fouls slider can result in more hits up the lines, so while lowering fouls may seem counter intuitive, I'm hoping better timing will help and also keep strikeouts realistic.

I use pure analog hitting(flick) and meter pitching on HOF. I use your sliders and like them but can not hit for sh*t with pure analog. How much do you think pure analog is impacting my hitting because am subject to player ratings?

Hi Mike, Do we need to change the sliders for CPU pitcher stamina and manager hook in middle of a game with the new patch?

Probably a lot, as I have not testing these using analog hitting.
