How is the defense with these settings? Just curious, to see if I want to make the changes to my sliders.

Fielding Errors Outfield - 7
Throwing Errors Infield - 9

I think they play out really well, like I had a cool play earlier where the defense was in a extreme left shift and I hit the ball to the left of the 2B and he had to reach for it and make a spin throw and instead of it being a perfect throw to 1st like it probably would've been on default it was slightly off-line and my guy reached 1st base

Any fielding slider tweaks recommended if I'm using manual fielding with button accuracy throwing?

I understand the reasoning for auto fielding, and I'm sure there are amazing animations. However, I jump between franchise and DD and find if I go awhile not fielding in franchise and have to field in DD I'm not as sharp as I need to be.

No I use manual fielding but that was the CPU that made that play

Hey Mike, loving the sliders. I know you haven't started your RTTS yet, but my pitcher is a high velocity starter that's averaging about 14 K/9 after two seasons in AA. Any advice to lower this? Should I maybe bump pitching up to Legendary?

Mike, appreciate you're away, so anyone else with feedback please do chime in, but how are we finding the move to legend pitching? Haven't quite brought myself to switch yet but my braves hold the 3rd best era after 21 games at 2.4 something which is, frankly, too good for a team with 4 starting pitchers in the low 70s overall and a bullpen with 4 members in the 60s!

My only prev experience of legend I gave up 3 homeruns and 11 runs overall so figuring if there's any balancing that needs looking at? The problem on hof seems to be clutch hitting. Regularly giving up 7 or 8 hits plus 3 walks in a game and see the cpu scoring 1 or 2 runs so would just like to find that extra threat somewhere

Hey Mike! Loving the set, got about halfway through year 1 of my buccos 'chise and decided I was pitching way to good, all the other stats were awesome though, and I plan on restarting when the next osfm (2.0) comes out I wanted to ask a question.

1. Do you update these to the vault everytime you make a change? I try to look every few days in here to search comments for changes made, just wondering if I could just redownload them once a week instead.

I BELIEVE that only versions uploaded are v.12 (best set so far IMO) & 1.14...

v.12 was intended to be "close to final" but the patch forced Mike to beef up the offense...

I think I need separate Freddie Freeman sliders. I'm still shuffling st the plate with a team ba of .222 through the first month which places me squarely last. And 28th in runs scored. Freeman meanwhile is slashing .348/.388/.854!!! He has 13 of my team's 20 home runs and has driven in 28 of the team's 66 runs. He also has 4 of the 27 doubles and 1 of 3 triples. My next best hitter is Inciarte batting .260 with one extra base hit and Phillips hitting .256. Kemp, Markakis and Adonis Garcia are all hitting below .200!

I tried putting power up to 2 and dropping solid hits to 8. Freeman hit two two run home runs against Syndergaard in three innings. So basically I need to nerf freddie!!!

Personally, I still prefer (below) even post patch...

The HR's I'm hitting (although not TOO many) are all "moon shots" with v14. We'll see where this slider set goes after more post-patch testing...

Off topic, I can't tell you how much I HATE the new bat to ball sounds! Granted, they'll be fixed with the next patch, but hitting a screaming line drive & listening to a bat cracking gives the illusion that balls are traveling faster & harder than they should be... killing the game for me.

No variations to v12, pre-patch & legend pitching was as close to perfect as I've ever experienced with this series & feel we're now... "back to the drawing board".

May be time to put this game down for a bit. Mike, HURRY HOME!!!!!!!

So far, pitching on legend with the version 1.14 sliders has been a great middle ground for me. HOF was becoming too easy and I was giving up 0-2 runs far too often. Through 6 or 7 games on legend, I only had a few shutdown games (granted, one was with Kershaw) and a few where I was hit hard. It feels like a much better challenge and the CPU takes advantage of a lot more mistakes. Never did it feel cheap or OP. If you're looking for a challenge, I'd definitely recommend it!
