Ok game 1 on default. I don't know if it was just because of the Reds ****ty pitching or being in the Launching Pad, but I hit 9 HR's and the Reds added 2 of their own. I did like the fact that my pitching gave up more than just 2 runs.

      CHC 15 14 1
      CIN 5 9 0

      CHC - 9 HR's, 2 BB's, 4 K's
      CIN - 2 Doubles, 2 HR's, GIDP 0 BB's, 8 K's

      Home Runs
      Schwarber
      Rizzo 3
      Baez 2
      Russell 2
      Happ

Next game up is against the Pirates in Pittsburgh. Will play it tomorrow

Just played an amazing pitchers duel between Jake Arrieta and Jose DeLeon. Arrieta took a no-no into the 8th, then single, fielders choice and Judge bobbled a second single in RF or he would have had a chance to throw out the runner at home. It was all irrelevant in the 9th though as Gardner dropped a flyball and the Rays added a second run without the benefit of a hit.

          Tampa Bay 2-2-0 BB-1, K-11
          Yankees 0-4-1 BB-1, K-7

I bet Jake is wishing he hadn't signed with us as a FA now. Two starts, and we have lost both (3-3 on the young season) Jake's numbers 0-1, 15 IP, 9 hits, 2 BB, 17 K and a WHIP of 0.73. He is pitching his azz off to start the season and I can't get him any run support.

            Game 2
Pirates (0-1) vs. Red Sox (1-0)
            Schugel vs Price

Red Sox hit into 3 double plays in the first 3 innings and failed to get anything started offensively. Pirates made it 1-0 in the 3rd with Mercer's solo HR and made it 3-0 on a couple doubles in the 4th off of Price. Price did his best to get out of jams all night except for the 4th. Benintendi hit a solo HR in the 6th to make it 3-1 but Pittsburgh tacked on 2 more runs in the 7th to put the game on ice. The Red Sox loaded the bases in the 8th with 2 outs but Hudson got Ramires to strike out. The Red Sox would fight back in the 9th with a run and put the tying run at the plate with Benintendi up to bat. But Watson was able to redeem himself from the previous game and got him to ground out to end the game.

            Pirates 5 11 0
            Red Sox 2 9 0

            Pirates: 1 2B, 1 HR, 1 BB, 9 K
Red Sox: 1 HR, 6 BB, 9 K (Red Sox hit multiple singles off the green monster)

I am surprised the CPU is hitting so well. I was worried going down to All Star on pitching. On the original sliders I had a tough time striking out offensively. I'm glad to see I struck out 9 times in this game. My BABIP after 2 games is .389 which is a little high but this game would have lowered it if I didn't make a small comeback against the Pirates bullpen as I had 4 hits in the last 2 innings.

              Game 3
              Pirates vs Red Sox
              Taillon va Porcello

Red Sox look to win the rubber match of the series. Betts started it off with a 2 run HR in the 1st to take a 2-0 lead. It was a 3-2 Boston lead after 3 innings after each team got single runs with a double and couple of hits. Red Sox made it 5-2 with a Pedroia and Betts getting a RBI single each. Pirates scored a run in the 5th with a sac fly. The bullpen closed it down for a 5-3 win.

              Pirates 3 8 0
              Red Sox 5 10 0

              Pirates: 4 2B, 1 3B, 1 BB, 8 K
              Red Sox: 1 2B, 1 HR, 1 BB, 5 K

              • Porcello goes 6 IP, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K to get the win.
              • Taillon got hit hard giving up 5 ER in just 3.2 IP.
              • Betts goes 2 for 4 with a HR and 3 RBI.
              • Kang goes 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI in a losing effort.
              • Red Sox will travel to Detroit for a 4 game series.

Looks like you are getting some good games and like you I was surprised to be striking out more, which I think is helped by the 5/5 pitch speed. I have my current game saved going into the top of the 11th 0-0 in another pitchers duel. Going into these last two games I was tied for the lead in runs scored, now working on 19 straight innings without a run. I loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the 10th, then struck out and hit into a double play. Pissed, but loving it!

My first game against Detroit I won 8-4. My offense came out today as I had 17 hits but I was facing a weak pitcher. It was 5-4 til the 7th inning until I broke it open.

Game 2 of the series was the knuckleballer Wright vs Boyd. Wright had his knuckleball dancing all game as the Tigers kept popping everything up. His only blemish was a 3 run homer by Kinsler. That one didn't dance. Mookie Betts continues his tear hitting 2 HR with 4 RBI going 3 for 5. He's batting .429 with. 4 HR and 12 RBI in 5 games. The Red Sox start the season 4-1.

                      Red Sox 8 11 0
                      Tigers 3 9 2

                      Red Sox: 2 2B, 3 HR, 4 K
                      Tigers: 3 2B, 1 HR, 1 BB, 3 K

I hit Boyd pretty good. Next game I will face Verlander so that should be more of a challenge for the Red Sox.

The QC by default seem to put me in a huge pitch count hole. Then they foul off everything. This is tough.

I have run into that too. Makes you gamble more with pitches to avoid that, which helps the CPU hitters sometimes.

Just played a 21 inning game that took 3:57, lost to the Orioles 4-3 and the teams combined for 55 strikeouts and 18 walks, ugh!

                          Yankees 3-9-0 2B-1, BB-11, K-25
                          Orioles 4-11-1 2B-4, HR-1, BB-7, K-30
Never had a game like this before, LOL

My offense was faltering, we had lost 5 of 7, went a stretch of 22 innings before that marathon game with only 1 run scored, but then this happened next game out.

                          Yankees 12-15-0 2B-1, HR-4, BB-5, K-10
                          Orioles 0-2-0 2B-, BB-2, K-7

                          Love this game.

                            Game 6
Red Sox (4-1) at Tigers (2-3)
                            Sale vs Verlander

Was looking forward to this pitchers matchup. I waa interested to see how my hot offense would go against an ace. Verlander did a great job cooling off the bats. Sale gave up a 2 run homer in the 3rd to Jason McCann who went 2 for 3. Gave up a single run from a fielders choice after Hanley Ramirez who was playing LF today botched a running catch for a errror. Benintendi was running low on energy so he got the start as the DH. Red Sox would get single runs in the 6th and 8th from RBI singles. The Red Sox ended up losing 4-2.

                            Red Sox 2 8 1
                            Tigers 4 6 0

                            Red Sox: 2 2B, 2 BB, 6 K
                            Tigers: 2 2B, 2 HR, 2 BB, 8 K

                            • Sale gets his first loss going 7 innings giving up 2 ER on 5 hits, 1 walk and 7 strikeouts.
                            • Verlander goes 2-0 pitching 7 strong innings giving up 1 run on 5 hits, striking out 6
                            • Hanley Ramirez goes 4 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI
                            • Red Sox will try to take 3 out of 4 from the Tigers tomorrow with David Price facing Jordan Zimmerman in the finale.

The Red Sox had a big 2nd inning scoring 5 runs courtesy of 2 triples, 1 double, and 3 singles off of Zimmerman. Moreland followed with a 2 run HR in the 3rd and the Red Sox go on to win the game easily 8-2 to take 3 out of 4 against Detroit.

                              • Zimmerman struggles and gives up 7 runs in 3 innings.
                              • Moreland goes 2 for 4 with a HR and triple with 4 RBI
                              • Red Sox goes back home for a short 2 game series against the Baltimore Orioles.

                                Bundy vs Porcello

I am loving these sliders so far. This is about the first time I have played 9 games without adjusting the sliders. I have been hitting and my team average is .313. But I am averaging 1.3 HR per game having 12 HR in 9 games. I am leading the league in average and strikeouts only striking out 46 times in 9 games. But the top 3 teams have 49 and 51 so I'm not far off. I do have a offensive team and I been facing weak pitching for the most part.
