I must admit, u always say sample size is key and to trust the sliders. You will get hot and cold streaks. I have complained about getting killed in pitching with the A's, but for the last 10 games or so, everything has clicked and my pitching has been amazing. You were right. Just got to stick with it even during cold streaks and trust that everything will balance out when u play out a whole season. Thanks for the great work with these.

Recently called up a red hot Gsellman to replace the often injured, Zack Wheeler. Wheeler has been removed from three different starts, but yet to hit the DL. Well, that was until the 3rd time. 3 IP, H, 2 BB, 6 Ks, aaaaaaand he sprains his elbow ligament. 1 -2 weeks is his expected return. He joins his teammate Noah Syndergaard on the DL. Thor was injured in spring with a fractured wrist, while throwing a ball. He still has 3-4 weeks until he's back. Juan Lagares broke his foot going back to a base. He's got another 1-2 months left. Jose Lobaton fractured his arm and is out 1-2 months. Matt den Dekker tore his achilles and is toast...

That's all of the main details with how the first month has gone. I've had the lead in most of my games. My bullpen just prefers to leave balls in the middle of the plate sometimes. I am going to probably have to make a few moves soon. Another little thing, Cepedes hit 5 HRs in the first four games. I'm able to get men on, but not score. I work counts. Got my two custom cameras to pitch and hit at. Had to pitch with the hitting cam because I never knew runners were going with the music blasting. Having a blast, though. This years game has me in the palm of its hand. Haven't been this hooked since I got my PS3 and got into September in a month in MLB '09 in a month. Sometimes, this game is a bit TOO realistic. As you can see by the Familia blown saves...

Game 3 finished in an 8-3 win for the hometown Astros.

Quintana started on the mound for Houston and had great control for 5.2 innings before he got into some trouble.

George Springer, killer of Lefties, lived up to that reputation hitting 2 mammoth HRs (both 400+ft) to help the Astros to the victory.

The Dodgers had chances against an unusually shaky Houston bullpen the best of which came in the top of the 7th. Down 7-3 they loaded the bases with no outs but didn’t manage to score any runs after Hector Rondon came in and pitched brilliantly to get out of the jam.

Brian McCann hit a solo shot in the 8th to cap off the win and put the Astros back ahead in the series 2-1.

Game 4 should be live in the next couple hours or so.

Game 4 Astros win 6-1.

Early runs mainly thanks to Carlos Correa (4 RBIs) and a nice 6 inning outing from McCullers helped the Astros to within one win of repeating as World Champs.

Game 5 will be live in the next hour.

Because it was the oddest thing I have ever seen. He did not get hurt during the game. After I exited out of the game all of a sudden they tell me he fractured his shin! Yeah really? When? Walking to the bathroom after the game ended?

So being that it is my universe I whipped up a two week storyline injury of knee tendinitis.
Unacceptable for me to absorb and 2-3 month injury when I play every inning every pitch and it did not happen in the field of play.

I have never ever seen that happen in the 10 years I have played this series.

Best injury I had was Tyler Austin had a FB run in and got his arm and break it. Putting him down for 2 months, comes back in about 2 weeks tho

I never was able edit sleeve length. Don’t ever recall being able to do that.

Game 4 Astros win 6-1.

Game 5 saw the Dodgers stay alive with a 5-3 win.

They scored 2 in the 1st off Keuchel but the Astros battled back against Kershaw to take a 3-2 lead in the 5th. Both starters were out after the 6th and it stayed 3-2 until the 8th.

Hector Rondon, who’s been close to perfect for Houston in the postseason, gave up his first runs on a 2 run HR by Corey Seager and LA got another run off Giles in the 9th.

Kenley Jansen came in and although he gave up 2 hits he still closed it out again earning his 6th save in the postseason and kept his ERA at 0.

One other note from this game is Justin Turner who now has 20 RBIs this postseason (1 behind the MLB record of 21 set by David Freese in 2011) and he’s hitting .404!

The series now shifts back to LA for Game 6 and possibly Game 7.

Game 6 will be live shortly.

The fielding has looked really good since the patch. Don't know if it has anything to do with the patch, but I've had three balls ripped down the line for doubles. I wasn't seeing that unless I was going the other way on a shift...

I have been using these sliders for my franchise and enjoying the ride. I played one game since the latest patch, and the outfielders 'misplayed' 3 balls that led to 3 triples. I don't know if this is coincidental or not. I had not seen this happen for quite a while.
Two of these were misplayed by Rosario(Minn), a decent OF, and the other by Grossman.

Anyone else?

I'm the Mets. Everything bad happens to me. I think it's just one of those things. I had a game the other day where Cabrera botched two grounders in a row. If you see it happening on a consistent basis, then I would worry...

Sometimes there's just crazy stretches. I've been using these same sliders all year with no crazy kinda results.

But... I played the first 4-5 games of a KC chise, and Alcides Escobar (who is pretty much only good at Defense) Had 7 throwing errors in those first few games.

Sometimes guys just fall in a slump, great thing about this game is they can fall into slumps in all facets of the game!

Armor-have you noticed any differences in the feel of hitting since the last patch from out of the box? I could be just getting used to it but it feels more like hitting last year then it did out of the box. My contact points relative to ball flight and direction are off sometimes as well. I’ve only noticed that since 1.09.
