Re: Mike Lowe MLB The Show '18 Sliders
Usually "bonehead" errors means doing something like throwing to the wrong base, or forgetting how many outs there are. No slider can fix bonehead errors.
But if there are a lot of physical errors, how many are we talking? What kind of errors - infield, outfield, throwing, fielding? In how many games?

I meant bonehead in the sense that it should never happen, balls going through guys legs at least twice a game........lost last night on a ground ball going through Asdrubals legs in the bottom of the 8th.......I've read people complaining about too many errors and Mike has his at like 8

I do see errors that are not ruled errors in the game, which clearly should be ruled errors. The game just gets these wrong sometimes. Since I keep score to all of my games on my own, apart from the game, I correctly rule these errors, and I do have a lower fielding percentage than I should, based on the Official Scorer (me).
That being said, the game also occasionally rules an error when it shouldn't. I would hope this would even out over time but it hasn't in the past (but it's close enough that most people can live with it). Every year the Official Stats, that I keep, have slightly lower batting averages and quite a few more errors than the game stats show.
Based on this only, I may also eventually lower the errors slider a notch or two. But I'm giving it more time.Last edited by NolanRyansSnowmonkey; 04-11-2018, 01:10 AM.Comment

Anybody else seeing a weird sub problem when trying to sub a pitcher like you can’t warm the pitcher up you can only put him in the game you can’t even back out and if you do it multiple times it subs all the pitchers at your next pitching turn

Re: Mike Lowe MLB The Show '18 Sliders
I am a classic and directional player....yes, these settings work with those interfaces...Pitching - I keep on Legend and move control and consistency to 2. I do not use any aids and go with a clean screen. This produces the 'unintentional' walks we all want replicated as in real life. Hitting - I am on HOF with contact, power and solid hits at default. I lowered foul and timing to 3 to help produce the strikeouts and swings and misses. I am basically using a mix of the two best slider makers in the business.....Mr Armor and Mr Mike Lowe. I am still deciding if I am going to move pitching consistency and control to 1 or 0. I am also watching closely if I need to move human hitting foul and timing down one or two clicks as well. I start my Cubs Franchise tonight and will let these settings go for the first 10 games (twice thru the rotation) before I think of changing anything.

Can you post what changes you made from the OP? I want to use exactly what other Directional/Classic guys are using.

Re: Mike Lowe MLB The Show '18 Sliders
I use directional hitting with Mike's sliders and i get 8 hits per game average, I'm also one of the teams the score the most points, the problem for me is strikeouts, I've been striked out a lot with this slidersComment
