Re: Mike Lowe MLB The Show '18 Sliders

Mike just wanted to let you know that so far sliders are working perfectly......after 32 games into my franchise I am seeing right around 65% strikes for both CPU and me and first pitch strikes have been around 59%-63% but with my higher end pitchers it had been around 64%-67% same for the CPU foul balla have been almost on point as i am seeing steadying numbers around the 16% mark and even swings and misses are almost perfect as they have been around 21%-24%...............you have truly out done yourself this year sir........also I haven't had any games like before where the CPU just automatically comes back and scored ridiculously amount of runs in an inning

If it's a long delay, say more than 40 minutes, I am taking my starter out.

It will lead to too many runners being thrown out on what should be 2Bs.

Re: Mike Lowe MLB The Show '18 Sliders

Mike I have been using your sliders for a couple weeks now and I really enjoy them. All the games have been pretty evenly matched for the most part. I had one game where my starter only lasted 2 1/3 innings and gave up 6 runs and 2 HR. I stuck with it and finished the game with my BP and lost 2-8. BUT I wasn't tempted to adjust anything and good thing, because the next few games were good. It just represented that sometimes players have an off day.

My only wish was that CPU and human sliders for fielder arm and baserunner speed were separate. It always has the illusion that the CPU is faster with stronger arms. I will almost get thrown out at home on a single to the gap with a guy on 2nd and 50 something speed. I had a situation the other day where it was a single to RF and a 20 something speed CPU player went 1st to 3rd. It just seems just a bit off but also very close.

Just an illusion. We tend to think our own players are better than they really are, even in watching real life (we all have the 'my team can do nothing wrong' ultra-homer friend haha)

So, whats the story with CPU manager hook? On first page it says set it at 2 but when I download sliders it is set to 7... which is it to start? Also, are the adjustments to 9 once cpu hits pen live? as well as set to 7 for sim games?

When u play, put manager hook at 2 until they go to the pen. Then turn up to 9. If your simming then leave at 7.

Had never used your sliders before and decided to give them a crack after playing default legend. Tweaked it a bit to my taste, personally don't find Legend difficulty pitching to generate enough strikeouts so went down to HOF with some bumps to their sliders. But the hitting part is pretty solid, believe I've gone one notch down on my timing/power. Nice set.
