Have you tried making the analog pitch display graphic as small as possible on your screen? Not sure if that will help but could be worth a try...

Playing with the Jays 20 games in.

      Team ERA : 2.25
      H/GM : 7.2
      K/GM : 8.2
      BB/GM : 3.1
      HR/GM : 0.6

Haven’t calaclutated the total BABIP for the CPU but most games it’s around .250

I’m definitely allowing baserunners which should equate to earned runs just seems the CPU chokes when it comes to scoring. Haven’t had a big inning against me that I can remember.

      Hope that helps

Either lower human control, increase CPU contact, or both.

One more game since my previous update. Another game losing late because of a solo shot because I can't score. I really do love the realism, but i'm going to switch back to default HOF for a bit. I may keep the pitching sliders because I actually am feeling really good about those. Just not having any ounce of fun hitting.

Last year with these sliders I had a ball playing. Even when getting shut down I fealt good. This year maybe my patience is just thin. I'm sure after a bit I will be back to them, just need to work on my hitting without sliders before using sliders are a viable option right now.

I’d like to deviate from the OP as little as possible, so I think I’ll just go 0 on human control. Thanks for looking in to it!

Or maybe just bringing CPU solid hits back up 1 instead?

I saw nothing in the notes that should impact user vs AI franchise games.

In the same boat as you. I struggle to collect hits. I’ve hit 1 HR my last 7 games. I’m the Indians.

I have several franchises going for different reasons, and in one of them i play with every single team. The teams that have a the big power guy or two seem to have realistic HR numbers for the team. But most other teams are getting well under 1 HR per game, and overall im seeing .65 HR per Game in all unsimmed games combined in this franchise. (I would like to see that around 1.10 per game). Combined hits per game are also low (around .50 per game low or so). If those extra .45 home runs per game or so could clear the warning track instead of falling for outs, it would clear up both problems. All other numbers look great.

On the flip side of the ball, I can’t hit worth crap and I’m still 13-2 to start the year. My ERA as a team is 1.07. I have human consistency and control both at 0, and cpu solid hits at 3 instead of 1. This could be luck so far but who knows.

Yeah the HR are definitely low on both sides. As I mentioned most of my games are a “pitchers duel” 2-1 3-2 etc. I’m thinking bumping solid hits might fix the HR/R issue. I held the Yankees to 5 runs total and 1 HR in a 4 game series. Both the CPU and I are well below 1 HR/game.

I'm having low scoring game as well and a lot of first or early count hitting and results in outs really fast. The starters pitch counts are quite low as well. HR is a bit low, I would like to see more HRs. I'm only on HOF hitting and Legend on pitching and its pretty tough to score.
