This is the first year of the show I’ve ever been able to hit with pitch speed sliders higher than 2. For some reason 5 feels so natural this year.

Unrelated note: I think I’m scrapping the Rockies franchise I started and going back to the Yankees as usual. Rockies are fun to play with, but Coors Field is not. Pitchers take a beating there and my bullpen was gassed after the opening series. So it’ll be back to da Bronx for me

That’s disappointing. I like to play a franchise in both leagues. I always play as the Yankees and had decided to go with the Rockies as my NL team. Was looking for a team that will challenge for a playoff spot, have good power and a nice home ballpark.

Anybody have any other ideas??

You’ll find your swing, believe me. I actually had a harder time hitting with lower speeds so far this year. I was sitting back on everything because it was coming in so slow. Curveballs were floating in like a softball which caused my timing to be waaaay off either early or late. And I couldn’t pull anything. With 5/5 I can pull an inside fastball down the line because I anticipate it a little and get the barrel of the bat out in front just enough.
Trust the sliders lol

I would try this first......click human timing up to 6 before you drop pitch speeds.

Would you also recommend this for All Star? With solid hits at 4 and pitch speeds at 5, I struggle. If I move solid hits to 5, I still struggle some. If I drop pitch speeds to 4, I get far too many hits. I'm stuck in the middle. So, would solid hits at 4, pitch speeds 5 and timing bumped up to 6 be a good experiment?

Advice....I have enjoyed armors sliders for years and this year is no exception but I'm struggling and need advice....I'm the Cubs and stand at 7-8.... pitching has been decent but my hitting has been bad....to the tune of a .197 team average. My patience needs improvement but it feels like my team is in a huge slump independent of my impatience..... No matter what I do, I still can't drive the ball, which leads to me pressing....and this awful vicious cycle..... I have tried lowering pitch speed, upped solid hits to 5, I tried increasing timing by one....still can't drive the ball .........Should I stick with it and trust the stats will go-to the mean or drop levels (which I do not want to do!).....if I should stick with it, then from y'all's experience what sliders should I change to kinda get kick started...so frustrating

Stick with it.

Thank you very much for the advice. Its such a painful cycle when you are slumping....just like real life ...I see my team batting average and automatically start pressing....just like real life.....so, your advice/reminder is very helpful.....patience may be my one way outta this hole! Bright side is I am still only 15 games in and only one below .500......wife just went to bed so I think I'm gonna get a game in! Thank you

Sorry not slider related but does it not count as an RBI when you ground into a bases loaded double play and a run scores?

Sanchez did that and then later homered but box score is showing just one RBI for him.

Either that's a bug or I've gotten that wrong my whole life... always thought that counted as an RBI
