Yeah I'm not sure. Certainly there's games with no wild pitches though? I haven't had a single game without one.

That would tie into the pitching consistency slider. If I have time tonight I’ll pump mine up to 7. I’m testing CPU timing at 4 also.

I feel like timing for human hitting at 5 might be too low. or I’m just too old.

When I get wild pitches it's always at the worst time.

In threw two in the same inning yesterday, both with the bases loaded. Run scored on the first one, I then walked that batter, then threw another to the next batter. Ended up giving up 6 runs in the inning and eventually lost 10-2.

You guys are still young I am about to hit the 60...lol... I kept the sliders the same as the OP but turned my pitch speed down to 3 on both and my hitting returned to the pre patch era

Oh the torture of baseball.

My offense has been on freaking fire. The month of May I was simply mashing.

June 1st at Toronto last night to start the first of a 3 game set and hopefully put a dent in their first place lead (I am 4.5 games back of them entering this series).

I was 1 hit. 1 freaking hit.

Lost 2-0.

Verlander drops to 0-4. And we fall 5.5 back.

Is there ANY way to get rid of that little black box that appears before every at bat giving you the option to guess pitch? I have guess pitch turned off, swing/pitch info turned off and I get it at least once every at bat. How do I get rid of this??

I got rid of it by turning off the pre-pitch camera.

It's my fault guys Armor got shutout. Ever since my slump started I rub off on him when I watch his stream live. Lol

So I am lost guys and i dont understand this anymore. I just played my 15 game post patch and everyone knows my struggles lately. So i put my timing up to 6 to play this game thinking it might help. Um no I scored 1 run on 3 hits and struck out 14 times.

In my 15 games now since the patch I have scored 33 runs. In the 4 games prior to the patch I scored 36 runs. I'm never a believer that the patch can change that much but what else can this be. I have took some days off from the game. I'm working the count and getting starters pitch count up and even though I'm not scoring the starters barely make it through the 6th.

Now my crazy head is thinking of conspiracy theories. I download the game to the ps4 and didn't buy the disc. Could the game patches affect the downloaded games differently.

See that's what 15 games not hitting does to me I think crazy s**t. Lmao.

Haven't posted on here in a few weeks and have barely played the game in the game in the month of May just because of life and being super busy.

Getting back into it the last few days with the updated sliders.

And still... getting only 1, 2 or 3 strikeouts with my starting pitchers pretty much every game. I'm 28th in the league and the Yankees staff is not that bad.

I don't know what else to do. At this point, I don't even feel like it's anything that sliders could fix. I hate to complain and say this, but the game just feels broken to me, at least in this aspect.

Not sure what has been discussed about it here over the last few weeks, but has anyone here seen any improvements since slider adjustments were made? Anyone else still having major problems besides me? So frustrated!!

Edit: Before anyone replies with anything about my pitching strategy/approach, just know that isn''t it. I'm aware of what a good pitching strategy is and have played this game for 7 years without an issue like this.

I hope this settles your nerves. I have purchased digital copy last several years. I am playing HOF with same sliders Armor has on OP. The only difference is I have pitch speeds at 10. The game plays amazingly. The teams (user and CPU) are averaging 8-12 hits/game (about league avg IRL) in the about 8 games I've played since the latest patch, some games have been blowouts and some have been 2-1 games. This is consistent with the results I have seen since the 1st patch. The hit variety IMO in the patch just before the latest one was the best. But with Armor's tweaks I am seeing similar hit variety. I am getting plenty of hits (doubles too) and HRs. I am getting plenty of bloopers, weak contacts, line drives and high pops. Batters who are opposite field hitters are hitting to those fields. Everything you would expect IRL right? I am still averaging too many HRs compared to real life. IRL, the average HRs/game is less than 2. I am averaging 3-4 (and MV is driving me crazy with the line about the difference in the game being the long ball..It auto plays every time the teams combine for 3+ HRs. I wish SDS would change the trigger on that, but 3+ HRs is greater than league avg).

Now the only other thing I will add is I am using TrueSim's ratings, which IMO, only enhance the IRL experience.
