Re: JoshC1977's MLB 19 Sliders
lol man , just played my 1st game with the vibration off for pitching and what a 1st inning I had . It took me 28 pitches to get out of it , I gave up 5 hits and 1 run . Coming into the 5th inning Aaron Sanchez was at 76 pitches and loaded the bases twice but both times I managed to get out of it . Phew . In total I gave up 13 hits but only 2 runs , won the game 3-2 . It was extremely difficult but very rewarding , espicially when being able to get away with loading the bases twice .

Re: JoshC1977's MLB 19 Sliders
I know the OP says camera is the first thing to look at if hitting becomes to easy. Retro is just a tad too easy for me. Has anyone found a camera that's similar to retro that makes hitting slightly more difficult. I basically need to find one where I strike out a couple more times per game than I do currently. Thanks in advance.

JoshC1977's MLB 19 Sliders
This game just continues to amaze me every time I play it. I’m now 65 games into my season and have played every single pitch. Still seeing new things every single game, every single inning. This was probably the coolest double I’ve had all year long. This came one at bat after I hit an opposite field homer that landed in the first row of the green monster.

That's the camera I was using when I first got the game. I then switched to strike zone 3 for a couple of weeks. Been using retro for about 3 weeks now. I just don't think I strike out quite enough.Comment

Re: JoshC1977's MLB 19 Sliders
The very next half an inning after posting that pic, the CPU hits an INSIDE THE PARK GRAND SLAM. Andrew Benintendi hit a rope to RF and Tommy Pham (Primary Position LF) went for the highlight snag and missed. The ball rolled up into the corner right past Pesky’s pole. The CF Kiermaier had to come get it. There was a play at the plate but it wasn’t really all that close. Man I love this game.

After going 22 innings, the Braves have made a couple moves to bring up fresh arms for game 3 of a 12 straight day schedule and will be hosting the Marlins
I will be streaming shortly.Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.Comment

Re: JoshC1977's MLB 19 Sliders
Ok so ive been really struggling with scoring runs in my Franchise , 30 games in and I sit dead last or near last when it comes to batting/hitting stats in the league . I'm very new to this and still learning about trades , so when I seen that the CPU was happy with this I couldn't believe it . I'm just looking around at the trades I can make and I offered up 2B Garrett Hampson who is 24 and 73 rated with A potential and a player from the minors who is 26 with a rating of 65 and B potential for Cleveland's 3rd baseman Jose Ramirez who is 26 and 89 rated with A potential . People told me to keep an eye out for contracts and money a player is on , Ramirez only has 1 year and is on 6mil. Which doesn't seem like much for a player of his caliber at all . I'm still learning how potential works in this game but this seems like a no brainer to me , feels kinda unfair actually . Regardless I'll just wait till Tomorrow and see what other superstars get offered up

Re: JoshC1977's MLB 19 Sliders
The only times I do is when I'm trying to go opposite field and will push the stick away from the hitter. Once in a great while, if I REALLY need to try to hit a bomb, I will hold the stick at up and towards the batter if I am in a hitter's count (but that is much rarer this year).Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

Personally, 90-95% of the time, I don't.

Re: JoshC1977's MLB 19 Sliders
What a great pitching performance I just had by my new Canadian addition Nick Pivetta . After being swept in a 3 game series against the Chi Sox Nick Pivetta made his debut agansit the Giants and managed to go 8 innings with a no hitter . The fact that I just started pitching with the vibration off and performed this well is a real accomplishment for me . Also acquired 1 of my favorite Canadian youngsters in the highly rated Tyler O'Niell . The Blue Jays rebuild starts and we got 3 Canadian stars for the future . The stud Vladimir Guerrero Jr , Nick Pivetta and now Tlyer O'Niell. Loving this

Re: JoshC1977's MLB 19 Sliders
Hey Josh, what are your thoughts on baserunner speed? I’ve played with slider sets where it’s at 8 or higher, and I really like that because it seems to better emulate what you see on the field in real life, but I also feel it could have an adverse affect having the speed that high for your set. Thoughts?
