Hey guys. I noticed there hasn’t been an Armor/Sword slider set posted for ‘21.

Will these sliders work well with ‘21 or only with ‘20?

I’ve been using them with ‘21 and really haven’t seen any thing out of the ordinary but I was specifically curious if maybe the trade logic and/or injury probability for ‘21 is different from ‘20, thus making this slider set incompatible.

Armor, along with myself and a few others are still playing MLB 20 for the foreseeable future. I would imagine that these sliders would work fairly well with 21 though. The major differences in gameplay that I’ve noticed between 20 and 21 is that in 20 you can actually check swing. The one thing that I like better in 21 is that you just generally get more swings and misses from the CPU.

Does everyone have “warm up relievers” turned on? Does it make a difference? I’ve tried both on and off and not sure I see any difference. Sometimes I think having it turned on is just another way to make it longer to play a game.

I like warming up my relievers because it allows you to do a few things.

1. Build confidence in your best pitches
2. See what kind of stuff they have that day
3. The best way to build confidence in their pitches is to focus on 2 pitches you really want to establish for example fastball and slider (X and O) throw 3 of each.

I need some help. I was pitching in the 3rd inning and there is a 45-minute rain delay. I’m asked if I want to continue with pitcher or warmup a different pitcher. I choose to warmup new pitcher. It shows the pitcher warming up in the bullpen (starts warming up from in front of rubber - soft tossing). After a few pitches I start the game. He comes into the game ice cold. After my 8 warmup pitches (he is still 75% cold), I throw 1 pitch and he is injured. What was I supposed to do? Do I keep him in the bullpen longer and just watch while he warms up to “ready and waiting?”

It is a visual bug. When an injury or rain delay occurs whomever you bring in will be fully warm.

The injury was a coincidence.

So I was a guy who decided to move on to '21 this year. I got caught up in the PS5 version and felt I had to make the jump. I battled all year with sliders, new gameplay, etc. Never had as much fun as I did in '20. So much so that with 2 weeks left in the regular season and in a tight race with the Cardinals for the division on '21, I've decided to go back to '20. Simulated the 21 season and went through the offseason. I'm now in Spring Training and enjoying '20 so much. I've got my team back, MY SOTS!

Guys, the grass is not always greener. Love '20 and won't be moving to '22 unless we see some REAL change in Franchise. Plus, love that Javy is the cover and intro. (Miss him and the other guys every day )

I was the same way, except I didn’t spend as much time on 21. I picked my MLB 20 season back up a month or two ago and I’m done with the regular season. I’ve been on vacation the past week and I have the NLDS against the Braves to look forward to once I get home.

Im even more stoked to play MLB 20 now since I got to go to the Yankees and Red Sox game last night at Fenway. It was the only place for me to see Rizzo and Schwarber on the same field again.

Yep I am still on 20 the only thing that would make me go to 21 is if they said today 'y2y saves' were returning in 22 but we won't know till March or Feb next year I would start a franchise in 21 and move it till 22 if this was the case, wish they would just tell us now.

Good to see you GainzBro. I am being pretty serious when I say that MLB 20 will carry me probably through to the PS5 generation.

We are in the Post Season of Yankees Year 5 and once that is done we are doing that Baumy 1994 Yankees season replay concurrently with Bacons Fictional Yankees.
