Not trying to step in on Josh’s thread but I’m pretty sure I can answer this for you

Both contact sliders up from 5 to 6
Both solid contact from 4/4 to 5/5
Both pitch control sliders from 6 to 5
Fielder reaction/ speed both from 4/4 to 5/5

He also changed his pitch speed back to default, but says its personal preference

Could be wrong on something. But the things listed above I know for a fact he changed.

Hey Josh,

Been using your sliders for the last 2-3 years with good success. I know pitch speed is personal preference, but I’ve always felt that your preferred sliders for pitch speed were a good match for my skills as well. I’ve noticed that over the course of your last few updates you’ve gone down from 7 to 5. I dropped mine to 6 with your May update and was starting to feel like maybe I needed to go back up to 7, so I was a little surprised to see 5 in your most recent update. I was wondering what led you to make that change? Thanks.

I play a ton of offline DD; just trying to keep the pitch speeds relatively close for me as I will begin switching between modes.

Stoked to check these out as COL tomorrow & to be checking in on the ATL 21 experiment of yours. Looking back over their roster today made me realize how much I got to know those players through the streams. Great feature of this roster and approach!

OP updated with what I've been using. I'm enjoying it and am only posting it as an FYI. Explanations are provided in the OP as per usual. I'm going to be honest, I'm not really looking for "feedback" here. I used these in a couple of games with "real" rosters and they appear to be fine; but I can no longer abide using full real life rosters.

To that end, I uploaded a roster (username JoshC1977) last night that overlayed Bacon's 40-man roster on top of the Brinskie roster. So, basically, you have a full 93 man roster for every team (with a mix of real life players in the minors and in FAs). Your major league lineups will be 99% Bacon players in Year 1 - but some of the real life prospects will begin to slowly bubble-in....creating a unique storyline environment. Remember rosters are cross-platform, so it doesn't matter which system you are on.

Hi Josh. I love the roster and sliders that you have uploaded and/or posted. Thank you for all of your hard work and continuing contributions to this wonderful game. I do have a question, more curious than anything else. Why can't you, as you put it, abide using full real life rosters anymore? Thank you again for all of the work you do with sliders and rosters. It is greatly appreciated.

Lack of ratings stretch in those rosters which results in a very bland game that lacks diversity.

On top of that, you have the battle of preconceptions. Even as someone who can fully focus on the fact that ratings is the only thing that matters, you can't totally eliminate those preconceptions.

There are many other reasons, but those are the main two.

I'm noticing that contact swing (circle) this year makes a huge difference. Using this set, I've had a lot more success hitting using contact swing, and regular swing when up 2-0 or 3-1.

I'm still not completely sold on the pitching yet I'm not seeing enough walks on my end but I need a larger sample size....

I never use to use contact swing but I have this year a bit. It’s pretty OP lol

I use it as my 2 strike approach regularly. Now, I realize a 2K approach rarely exists in the big leagues these days but it works for me. Similar to choking up, moving closer to the plate, or getting my front foot down sooner in real life. I find good balance in it, for me.

Yeah I'm saying in this years game it seems the contact swing is generating more power than past years, along with the increase contact.

Yeah thats what I mean... I'm using cycloniac's roster and really enjoying my blue jays franchise but am curious if these play better with a better mix of ratings.

Just a general observation after playing many games of the show.

I bumped up outfielder arm to 6.

There are way too many weak throws from the outfielders. Despite their game ratings, these outfielders have rifles for arms. Most if not all can get a throw into 2nd base quickly and on a rope. I just see way too many short or lazy throws in critical situations.

I did work with it on 8 to 10 but that is way op and anyone can throw it on a dime. At 6 there is still plenty of ratings involved but a little more "umph" behind their throws.
