Played about 7 innings with the new set before giving up.

The game I played last night with the other sliders was on the right path, but with this set it felt like we are back to square one.

I know a few innings isn’t a big enough sample so I’m going to play a few more games this weekend. Not sure how much more I have in me though. May have to shelve this game until they fix whatever it is they broke with one of those patches and turned this game into a turd.

Ugh. What have the devs done to my favorite game?

Kudos to all the slider gurus who are doing their best to fix this nightmare. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

I played my games with Brinskie rosters so I don’t know how much that made a difference

I may play another game with them, but offense was too easy in that game I played.

I’m starting to think that sliders can’t fix what’s broken under the hood.

It would not shock me one bit if using Brinskie's roster (which is re-rated) is a key. We know from last year that SDS' roster formula essentially 'broke' the game (it was the opposite problem last year). I used Bacon's roster all last year and had a much better experience than many here in the forum that stuck with rosters using SDS' paradigm.

Let me be clear to everyone; I am NOT touting this as a fact, it's just speculation.

But right now, we're all a tad frustrated and we're all reacting to tiny sample sizes. So, I am not going to do any further updates to the OP until June 14th (at the earliest).

All I can say is in the two games I played with his roster and the new set I’ve saw more runs than the last ten games combined prior.

I think my frustration comes with the fact we already got this game late to begin with. As a whole we were already behind on getting sliders out since the release this year was later than normal. I hope as a community we can find something that simply works and gives good gameplay!

Not so sure about repertoires; nothing about that in his OP and they seemed pretty untouched from what I saw.

Some people think I am crazy, but I have had great results with these. BUT....I hit using broadcast camera and pitch using a modified Retro camera. The only reason I use Retro for pitching so I get to see city skylines and I think its easier to see where my pitch goes and where I want it to go. What are you at with these right now??

Should contact be at 6 ? The first page says 5 but in a lot of the slider descriptions it mentions contact at 6.

You’re crazy man! No really though whatever works for you and makes you enjoy the game is what matters most. I’m a huge broadcast guy in every sports game except the show when I’m batting and In madden because that view is beautiful and unplayable.

For some reason I just find it easier to read the break and locations of the pitches. Timing is roughly the same for me. But swinging at garbage is a lot lower for me from Broadcast view. I would love to be able to adjust madden broadcast camera so that you can actually see your receivers and if they are open or not haha.

Does anyone else have a hard time pitching in general? I'm still struggling to get used to Classic pitching but also it feels like the CPU hits everything, or fouls off so many pitches that by the second-third innings my starter is pretty much done or has a high pitch count.

I hope this doesn't come across as complaining but I really just don't know what to do. Could I raise the user starting pitcher stamina slider?
