Were your user/CPU sliders aligned? I've seen (in the past) situations where you don't get the "full effect" if you only adjust one of the two sliders.

They were not. I had human timing at 5

Played two games before work with 0.1V Allstar. I know you preach to us Josh about playing more games before making adjustments. But can I say even though its a 2 game sample size I saw what I needed to see to keep playing this game. I plan on playing a lot this weekend. In my very tiny sample size I was playing the beginning of a series against the Yankees. Lopez my starting pitcher(formerly of the Marlins) was pitching great into the sixth. He was cruising so I thought let me push it and have him go through the line up one more time. He got the first guy out. Gave up a change up homer. I said alright it’s 4-1. Next guy up to the plate Judge. 3-2 slider homer again. Lol. Stanton up next. Warming up a reliever. I give up an 0-2 fastball homer... pitching coach to the mound.. bought some time and reliever comes in. He gets the two outs. We end up winning 4-3. Like the bombs Judge and Stanton hit were like get this guy out of here... lol.
Next game. It was just a hit fest. Montgomery and Matz for me. We just kept on trading runs up until the fifth when both came out and we both put in our long relievers. I couldn’t even finish that game because of both of us having long innings. When you play a good line up your punished if you try to pull a fast one pitching. The contact at 6 makes a big different and the solid hits at 4 balance things out. Fielder stuff. Added that perfect perfect doesn’t always mean homer. It just solid contact if you ain’t get that lift. A lot of balance here Josh. Singles, doubles, homers. Only thing I ain’t seen yet is a triple and I’m playing with a moderate team when it comes to running. Not to mention the Yankees being fairly slow themselves. Once Bacon 93 man roster is done things going to be lit! If MLBTS don’t screw with us through updates this is a solid set up on All Star. Sorry about how long this was.

Once you guys start toying around with the timing slider and contact sliders, it’s a vicious never ending cycle. I’ve always advised leaving those sliders alone.

I agree but it’s also a vicious cycle of having a top 5 pitching staff no matter what team you use in franchise mode

So I’ll take the gamble

It REALLY is, it's why I've always been resistant. Timing isn't the answer either and I could tell that almost immediately in testing after work.

I'm drawing a line in the sand...

I'm going with my old set from 20 with just the decrease in the fielder speed and reaction. The lower fielder speed/reactions always produced extra offense and I am rolling with that. The OP has been updated (also, no point in keeping the other setup...I removed that too)



On a total side note: Brinskie's 1000 hour roster looks amazing. Definitely rolling with it but I may add a little 'flair' of my own for my own purposes.

It REALLY is, it's why I've always been resistant. Timing isn't the answer either and I could tell that almost immediately in testing after work.

I'm going with my old set from 20 with just the decrease in the fielder speed and reaction. The lower fielder speed/reactions always produced extra offense and I am rolling with that. The OP has been updated (also, no point in keeping the other setup...I removed that too)

Copy that brother. Was last years set on all star or all star plus? I’m gonna get a game in tonight and see what’s up. This year things started off so well and I have no idea what happened to the gameplay recently.

There are re-rates (only 19 players 90 and above); but the major key is how he combines it with really good player potential work (only 63 players with A potential).
