First, these are observations, not criticisms, I love the sliders and am having a blast.



For those who are using the pitch meter, one thing I am doing now is letting the meter get completely full every time. Now I am getting more strikeouts, and allowing a few more walks, but it just seems more accurate. My pitchers on the Cubbies are not know for their strikeouts, but we were last in strikeouts and in walks allowed.



The pitching feels great, we just are struggling with our 3-5 guys. At 8-15, we are still trying to figure out our pitcher rotation. I think that the pitch meter works great with these sliders. Btw, the real Cubs are 8-12 right now. I think AntOrtiz V2 rosters were right on, and these sliders rock!



As for home runs, there seems to be a bit more than there should be. I know I am not the first to observe that. It's not too far off, just a bit. I compared my season to the real mlb. I have played 3-4 more games than most teams have in real life, and I did account for that. It's not as far off as I thought, but still a bit too many, and that may just work itself out. There was one outlier, one team in the game had 42 home runs through 23 games, the others were in the high 20s, including my Cubs. I'm not planning on changing anything, though I am curious about what Armor is possibly going to change, and if it may have anything to do with that.


Hits are fine, usually 8-10 hits a game on average.



When many of you tried power 5 and contact 5, what were the issues? Not enough hits, not enough hard hits? Just wondering.



Scores are reasonable. While I just lost 10-8, the previous game I lost 4-1, and I have won 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 etc. 9 times out of 10, the high score games involve team 4th or 5th starter, so it seems right on.



Keep having fun guys, I know I am, and that I am completely obsessed with this game. Go Cubs!

Edit: Just as I posted this, Armor had just posted what he was working on: human offense variety and toning down throwing errors. Sounds interesting, and I am looking forward to what Armor comes up with. Until then, I'm not making any changes (except possibly shooting one or two of my starting pitchers.)

I have all of armor’s settings how he has them but when I’m hitting it’s still giving me the speed and pitch type in the lower right corner of the screen where the score and team logos are. How do I turn this off? Thanks in advance

Well I guess I do still have a question, does it not display stuff like lineups etc if the scorebar display is off? I’d like to leave it off so I’m not seeing the pitch and speed but I also like the kind of broadcast type stuff like the lineups too. Is there a way to turn the scorebar off but still get the lineup display and stuff like that ?

Hey Armor, do you start a franchise with no injuries, or do you manually injure the players or do you just go with default (players not on 40 man in A ball just stay there)?

You can’t shut off pitch type and speed on the score bug.

ViotarLion10's is so good apart from I think batters vision is too low... With sds I was not seeing enough strike outs, now I'm seeing too many, like averaging nearly 10 a game when I sim a season. Walks are not quite there. I'm sure sim sliders will help but I haven't been able to get it right.
