    I am actually doing that setup. Someone else tried it and it seems to work for me. It is like the opposite of what Armor is doing LOL. I put my lowest rating MRP guys under 40 Stamina in all 3 LRP spots and the best RP in the MRP spots leaving the closer in the closer role. The LRP guy is in MRP 4. I also do 13 pitchers for all teams.

    If the CPU goes to the bullpen in the 4th-6th innings...they will most likely go to one of the pitchers in the LRP spots. So that is nice to see them use those guys. They pitch 1 inning but sometimes go 2.

    I was just playing the Red Sox and I looked at their bullpen stats. Everybody in their bullpen has appeared in at least 10 games of the 50 games played. I think the lowest is Rich Hill with 10 games. There are a couple of guys with 20 games in 50 games. Sawamura has the most at 25 games which I think is high. He is in the LR3 spot. He was in 25 games with 27 IP. The other LRP spots are around 15-20.

    Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. Didn't mean to hijack Armor's thread on this.

        So using 30 team control, if you set to auto the CPU will adjust their lineups after one simulated game?

        So if you do it manual, you’ll have to check in every day to sub tired players for the CPU as well? Like they won’t make any changes at all based on need?

          If set to manual, you will be prompted when a lineup or rotation is out of whack. You can then click to auto-adjust or go in and manually do it. If you set to auto, you will not be prompted.

          In my franchises, the only areas that I set to manual are for lineups and rotations. I let everything else ride, and I'll only intervene as I see the need.

            So, if someone is majorly fatigued… it’ll prompt me that a change is needed - then I can just hit auto, correct?

            Seems like a ton of micromanaging but I see the value.

              Putting in a sub 40 guy in the LRP slot results in around the league guys pitching 4+ innings and horrible era's.

              12 pitchers
              No LRP
              #6 starter in any MRP slot
              You can use both SU slots with no penalty
              A Closer

              If you auto rotation/lineup, after each day (it takes literally under 3 min) go through each rotation and here and there, you will see the cpu put a guy back in the LRP. Move them back to a MRP slot.

              MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
              Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

                this is what i'm doing also. seems to work fine.

                      In-game injuries are now at 8 - you will still get pre game injuries and plenty of in game injuries. FYI I lost Cole in my franchise with the setting on 8. So bad things can happen.....that is the point. Test your team depth, test your mettle as a GM. Injuries are a huge part of baseball......just look around the league IRL....constant. Guys on every team on the IL....it is a real thing. If you cannot handle it....keep it on default. But if you want a grind and what it’s like to overcome and juggle your lineups and have to really dig deep into your 40 man roster sometimes.....have it on 8.


                      Also a note on the Card System.....we are now live with it in Yankees Year 1 starting in the Month of May. We are locked in with this slider set.

                      Thanks for the update. Almost a month in of all played games. Lost a few starters to minor injuries not requiring DL time. Some CPU pitchers but very few. Haven’t lost one position player to injury and it was set at 10. Bringing it down to 8 doesn’t seem to make sense but maybe I have been very lucky. I’ll trust your judgement.

                            The answer to your question is a very simple one. Even If you're doing a 30 team control franchise on ANY game the computer will automatically change the lineup to sub out fatiuge players. The only time it won't is if you're playing a game and you are controlling that team. It doesn't matter if you have lineup control set to Auto or Manual. It won't actually change the lineup on the lineup screen, it will only change It for that particular game.

                            So you don't have to worry about micromanaging all of the lineups but every few days the computer will deviate from the lineup that is in the lineup screen.

                              So to be clear.....what is listed on the OP regarding hook slider is accurate?

                              Leave at 5 and NO more moving it to 10 once CPU goes to their BP (just make sure they only carry 12 pitchers with none in Long RP slot.)

                              Side note: I suck @ trying to steal bases.....my BR's get terrible jumps (even if I hold down L2 and release at pitchers first move. Don't think sliders can fix these abysmal BR jumps.

                                Correct.

                                As far has stealing. Preload the steel by pressing L2 then hold down L1 until the pitchers first move. The moment he makes his first move then release.
