IRL through 20, the Yankees lead with 29.

Try moving wind down to 4 and see how that works for you before bumping power down.

I’ve kept the testing results to myself, but wind @ 4 definitely could work. I think that might be a “user’s taste” slider to some degree. In other words, the impact felt minimal at 4, 5 or 6.

I definitely noticed it did change the temperature quite a bit, especially during early season games.

Not a bad idea. I will try it! Thank you.

And my Cubbies yesterday broke our 7 game losing streak at Wrigley beating our cross time rivals, Da Sox, 9 to 3. It was my number 1 pitcher against their number 5, but hey we will take it. And Baez went 3 for 4 with a homer, he is glad to be back home where he belongs. We are now 9-20. Go Cubbies.

And hey Armor, how the heck are the Cubbies 15-12 in your universe.? I love it, but Holy Cow, that is much better than I think is possible. Well, hey, Go Cubbies!

I have two questions about 30-man control for Franchise:

          (1) Where do you find recommended lineups to use in your franchise? I was looking around FanGraphs, but I don't see a simple Opening Day lineups page.

          (2) I'm using one set of sliders for simulation (SDS standard sliders with ViatorLion10's roster) and then loading the Armor & Sword sliders for human-controlled games. -- How do you simulate the other games so they show up in the ticker for my human-controlled game (since I need to have the sim sliders in place for the simmed games and then swap out to human sliders for my own game)?

It took me less than 10 hours to "edit" the Sony roster so it's ready for my franchise.

Some of the things I do:
              - all 40-man players make at least $700K

              - all non 40-man players (with 0 service time) make less than $100K AND don't have multi-year contracts. Sony did a really good job on this piece for 2022 (compared to years past)

              - all non 40-man players (with service time) make $700K per year

              - all SP's have a minimum of 60 stamina

              - all RP's have a maximum of 60 stamina

              - all CP's have a maximum of 30 stamina

              - even out each teams 40 man roster, so that each position has as close to the same # of players as possible

              - even out each team's 93-man roster, so that each position has as close to the same # of players possible.

              - each team has 3 Closers (1 on the 40-man and the 2 other being "prospects" with no service time and under 26 years old). I try to select the 2 non- 40 man closers as pitchers with only 3 pitches and high velocity

              - I stole this next item from Funkycorm, and I like it, because the trade engine can be a little weird at times. Any non-40 man player with zero service time who has a D or F potential; take away their secondary positions.
Couple this idea with evening out the 93 man and 40 man depth charts should alleviate a lot of the weird trades (especially the early season ones).

Hope these ideas help someone in this thread.

A bug that I think I uncovered with the bullpen and fixed.

I have always been a warm up pitchers guy....and I had heard “schedule to come into the game” was fixed.

So I had been testing and saw every time I scheduled a guy to come in they would fatigue far too quick.

Also I had noticed when I did my warm up pitches this year....guys were fatiguing far too quickly.

So as of right now.....I highly recommend:

                        Turn off "Warm Up Pitchers”

And warm up your guys as follows:

                        Stretch and Toss
                        Warm Up
                        Ready and Waiting

If you are in a pinch you can simply warm them up.....once you see the energy bar more than half full you can do a mound visit and then bring them in and they will be fully warm.

Another oddity I found was a guy could be 50% warm and when you brought them in for their warm up pitches they would have their energy bar full.

So there are bugs with certain aspects of warming up pitchers.

So follow my method above and you will be good.

Annoying. But I found the way to avoid it.

This is the way I have always been doing it. I agree with this. I have never had a issue with energy with this method. I started this method a couple of years ago when I discovered "schedule to pitch" was just messing up something about my games.

Just how I do it, when I start the batting inning (if I plan to make a pitcher change for the next inning) I will stretch and toss till two outs or if a DP is possible and then I warm up (till end of inning or 2 batters) then set to ready and waiting. Then when I start the next pitch inning, I call him in.

Thanks for finding that out. I always wondered if they ever fixed it, but was to scared to try it again LOL. Then it just became common for me to do it this way and never strayed from it

If I turn off “warmup pitchers”, doesn’t the

                                stretch and toss
                                warm up
                                ready and waiting process stop?
