The game is playing great guys, just keep playing it. No need to over analyze every game.

Still don’t think any tweaks are necessary, but I have noticed… it seems like we all have losing records in our franchise [emoji23][emoji28]

Since the update, the CPU is absolutely anemic on offense. I’ve taken 5 out of 6 against the Dodgers (I’m the Rockies). They had 1 game with 7 hits or more and man.. I hate when things change.

Probably going to need to up CPU solid hits or something.

I’ve played the Astros and they’ve destroyed me in 3 games - scoring more than 7 each game against my top three pitchers. Keep playing.

I have changed my mind and now I think that Armor will make some adjustments because of this update. It could just be that I'm playing against better teams now, but since the patch, even when my timing is good, I'm not getting the results I use to. Also it seems that the CPU hitting is a tad stronger now too. I feel like tweaks to the sliders will be coming. It just feels slightly off. But there is still the possibility that my results are just the ebb and flow of the season and the fact that I'm playing against better teams.

Baltimore roughed me up for 5 runs in ; innings the other day. Cleveland put up 7 on me. I respect everyone’s opinion but not everyone is seeing the same thing because we are all playing different team, facing different pitchers and coming across different game situations so naturally the game is different. The game has its ups and downs enjoy and embrace it through a full season . I promised you it will turn around

Good point. Now I do think that the update changed things, but it may have made things even more realistic. I'm interested to see what Armor thinks.

As for the offense being anemic, my top two pitchers rated 84 and 82, Stroman and Hendricks each gave up 5 runs in 6 innings vs the Brewers and Cardinals respectively. But John Means pitched 5 shut out innings vs the Brewers in a 1-0 win. So it may just all even out.

I totally understand this but through 10 games with the Rockies after the update, we are 8-2. With the 2 losses the only games where LAD or SD scores more than 3 runs.

Rockies have terrible pitching but it is not manifesting itself in game. I also play on equal sliders for CPU and User, so the CPU should be even harder but… they are not.

Granted individual skill level, tiredness, etc etc can all factor in. Im just seeing little to no offense in a relatively decent sample size against two very good teams.

Gotcha. We definitely need our slider expert, Armor the Amazing, to give it a look.

I beat Wainwright and the Cardinals 3-2. Great game. We scored 3 in the first, and that was it. 5 hits total. My closer gave up a run in the 9th, and we were in trouble, and then he got a double play!

So we are 2-4 post patch, but all games have been against top teams, Sox, Brewers, and Cardinals. We have scored 5, 1, 0, 3, 3, and 3 in those games.

                        We are 22-35.

Would I need to adjust sliders if I wanted to use quick counts?

Finally got around to starting my Braves franchise this weekend. First moves were to fire the hitting coach and hire a new one, set up a scout for each region, and make a trade for Christian Pache. Off to a great start against the Marlins. 3-0 with scores of 6-1, 8-2, 2-1
Fried, Soroka, and Morton pitched well. Got in a few tough situations with morton in game 3 but managed to work my way out without giving up any runs. Braves have outhomered the Marlins 6-2. Strikeouts and walks are close to even. The saving grace for the Braves has been the outfield. Rosario in left, Pache in center, and Acuna in right have tracked down everything while saving runs and several extra base hits. 1 more against the Marlins tonight. Ready to play some better teams to see how the cpu fairs.
