Will these sliders work with custom rosters?

Franchise to reality just came out and I know they did a lot of attribute edits…



Played my first game last night and the CPU seemed slightly muted with 10 strikeouts and only 6 hits (St.Louis)

They should work fine with any roster. We both used true sim roster in 2021 and our sliders worked for those.

I didn't explain myself clearly, sorry.

I meant to type "is there a place I can see the CURRENT energy bar for any given pitcher?

For instance, using 30-team control, if I want/have to move any teams rotation order around,I want to see how much stamina each SP has currently used up.

I don't want to accidentally move up a pitcher to start that day if he started a game 2 days ago and has a 1/2 empty energy bar.

I just tried those rosters with played as the Cubs vs Brewers. Granted it was 25 mph wind blowing out but the Brewers scored 9 runs on 15 hits.

The Mets beat the A's 17-6 last night.

The Mets drew 17 walks last night.

The only team since 1901 to draw 17 walks and score 17 runs on the road.

This is a good example of how you will have games that are an complete aberration.

It shows that if you have games like this that the sliders are still working.

Jesus lol. 17 walks is insane. Congrats on that! One thing I hate is the cpu will never do a mound visit though. Only comes out to replace the pitcher. A simple mound visit to increase confidence can help get that out you've been fighting to get for three ABs now.

I try not to micro manage my opponent, but you bring up a good point.

Maybe it would help the CPU if you took control of their team mid-game (during a rally), and did a mound visit for them?

Maybe some sort of a dice roll system like people do w/ other scenarios (wind, injuries, ejections etc.)

I think it was just patched in this morning. I just saw a cpu mound visit in the game I just completed.

I'm such a roster whore...lmao I have I believe 4 different files downloaded and was so undecided on which to use....to complicate the matter more I downloaded the fidelity to reality file earlier and played a couple games matched with V2.1 of these awesome sliders.

I have to say these sliders mixed with that particular roster file has been pure gold..I beat the Cubs 4-3 in extra innings with a Chris Taylor HR, and then proceeded to lose to the Mets 4-2.

I pulled May out of the Mets game after the 6th inning and I was only able to muster 2 strikeouts....lol

I did however have to successful challenges at 1st base, thought that was pretty cool, prior to that I always lost on any challenge I had.

Yeah it was the real life Mets.

If something like that happened to you in the game you would swear the sliders are messed up. That was why I mentioned that.

If you watch the highlights of that game and you will see just how realistic the speed of the game is with the sliders. The A's fielders kept making little mistakes that allowed plays to happen. Infielders mishandling ground balls..outfielders missing balls and they go all the way by to the wall.
I have a fit when things like that happen in the game but it is definitely based on real life.

The MLB is played at a very fast speed 9 times out of 10 the batter is hauling azz down the line trying to get to first on a ground ball. Especially if they are trying to stay in the league. So if the IF experiences any kind of trouble then the batter is going to be safe. Timing is very important to make outs in the infield. That is one of the things I enjoy most in the game, your infield has to be on point.

I am debating on restarting my Cardinals franchise with that roster. I’m only 15 games in so it’s not like I’m at a point that it would be a waste. Now that we are settled in with the sliders and have that roster it might be a good idea.

I have been trying to keep with the real calendar day with the Cardinals. So it would just be trying to catch up lol

I am debating on restarting my Cardinals franchise with that roster. I’m only 15 games in so it’s not like I’m at a point that it would be a waste. Now that we are settled in with the sliders and have that roster it might be a good idea.

I have been trying to keep with the real calendar day with the Cardinals. So it would just be trying to catch up lol

Yea I'm probably going to start my Dodger franchise here real quick...although to possibly complicate matters even more Lisac is releasing a roster under Ridin's roster, it's here in the roster section.....but I don't think there's any edits or anything.

I will admit I was skeptical of trying the fidelity rosters because I've never been crazy about edits to attributes as it seems like there is always a "bias" somewhere.

But color me suprised with the fidelity rosters, those play pretty nice.

I've definitely done this for them many times before. I then hate myself cause I killed my own rally where I was hitting everything lol

Haven't had a chance to play with that roster set, but spent a good deal of time looking over it......my gut says IT IS the one to start my chise with.
