These settings below should not have that flashing glove when the catcher makes his call.

if you pull back the R2 button it will happen......otherwise you should only be seeing his fingers and glove pats.

What am I missing? Is going into the pause menu the only way to see your/cpu pitches and going into the substitution menu to see your/cpu pitchers stamina?

Yeah, that's only way. Clean screen means just that, clean screen.

I personally can't to that, I like having those options available for me to still see. All a personal preference, but takes practice to do what Armor does. He's been doing it for years.

Pull the RT (xbox) to see cpu pitches and pitch locations and what pitches have been made during the at bat. I guess it would be R2 in PS5

Yes thank you but that’s not what I’m looking for. In the past you were able to press the right bumper to see that info. I did not play 21 or 22 as I am still playing 20 so maybe they changed this option

Yes I’ve been playing this way for years also but in the past , at least on 20 you could press the right bumper to see this info. I guess they removed that option

They changed the options screen around in 22 and it’s confusing. You have to use both L1/R1 and L2/R2 buttons. I believe if you do R2 to get to offense where you see what hitting method you use, you can R1 to do the pitching and I think it’s there. Other than that, just keep pushing L2 and then L1.

I too am enjoying the sliders and game but have the opposite problem. I just walked 3 batters in the first inning leading to a 5 run first. Lost 11-1 and ended up walking 6 total. Ouch

I think people have been saying for years that lowering pitch control = more meatballs, NOT necessarily more pitches out of the zone.

Maybe Armor believes this too, so lowering control is by design?

After all, one of the main goals of this sets is to increase offense and control at 4 has definitely done that.

Could also just be placebo? Gotta keep playing to see if the "drifting into the zone" continues.

I like it at 4, and happen to believe that loss of control SHOULD = more meatballs, not necessarily more BB's.
