Man, I am in DEEP now!!!!!!



I know there are 4 "fake" teams to deal with in the 84 and 85 roster set (pre-expansion era).



I just can't bring myself to sim any of my user controlled team games. I want every stat at the EOY to be mine.



I've decided to rebrand 3 of the 4 expansion teams (keeping Miami as is) with Nashville Stars, Charlotte Flyers and Portland Beavers.



The logo vault has great logo packs created for these 3 "make believe" teams and I quickly found 30,000 to 40,000 parks (and with the right elevation) in the stadium creator for those 3 cities.

Those teams in the 84 rosters are two Japan and two Mexico teams with actual players from 84. There are logos in the vault from Catch237 for all four teams. I went ahead and branded them for my franchise. As well as realigned the division to as close as possible to 1984.

Im using the 1984 rosters. Im not sure what players are in 1985 or others.

In order to realign, I had to rebrand the Cubs into Marlins and Cardinals into Braves. To move the players, I just swapped all the players between the teams before I started my franchise in the roster control section.

For the 1984 rosters in the NL, the Marlins Rockies Brewers are Japan and Mexico teams. Marlins are Diablos Rojos, Brewers are Hiroshima Carps and Rockies are Rieleros. Houston in the AL are the Hankyu Braves. The players on these rosters are actual players from those teams in 1984. Im amazed by the detail with these rosters

I wanted Cardinals in the same division as the Cubs with the Mets Phillies and Exoos. Braves were odd team out and had to go the NL central with Pirates, so I swapped all the players between Cardinals and Braves.

I wanted Reds in the NL west with LA, SF and SD like they used to be in 1984 so I swapped them with the Rockies. Diamondbacks have the Astros players already so I only had to rebrand them.

To move the Brewers to the AL East, in the 1984 roster, the Ray's have the Brewers players already, so only needed to rebrand the Ray's into the Brewers.

I probably did a horrible job of explaining this, but I had all this done within an hour or two, with re-branding and swapping the players.

We are playing through several opening day games for ATG’s 1985. We went ahead and rebranded the two Mexico and Japan teams properly!

This rebranding stuff is addicting! Thank you to all that have helped along the way. Gamer, Bryan, Dowie and Armor. Of course thank you to ATG creators and all of the people that make these logos . My apologies if I left anyone out . Have created 4 teams so far for the 85 rosters and by far the most fun I’m having is doing the logos and uniforms for the teams from Japan and Mexico. Should be done in a few days . Can’t wait to start playing in some of these recreated old school stadiums!

These sliders are pretty locked in.

Friendly reminder.......add 10 to your opposing pitchers stamina attribute before playing your game and remember to revert back after the game.

Gives them a stronger chance to pitch into the 6th or 7th, and bullpen management/usage is a tad less predictable.

As of right now the same set with one caveat:

I am testing using the add +10 to the starting pitchers stamina rating in conjunction with CPU Hook at 3.

Once the CPU goes to the bullpen we move the hook back to default vs 4 on the OP.

I am going to need a decent sample size before/if I post that.
