Thank you! It was a lot of trial and error, but I have nothing better to do right now anyway so... better make those stats perfect!


I've also changed all the hitting sliders to 0, apart from Power which I've left at 2. Team AVGs are still too high though and the Strikeouts per Team are also still to low.


Baserunning sliders were turned up to 10, with that I see mostly identical stats to those of teams in 2023.


And the ONLY way to have matching Strikeout stats for Pitchers is...to increase K/9 ratings for EVERY pitcher. If the pitcher has a 11.x SO9, I just up their K/9 to 99. After that, for 10.x SO9, you can have it between 85-90, for 9.x it's between 80-85, for 8.x it's 70-79, for 7.x it's 60-69 etc...

I didn't test injures yet, I have Sim Injuries at 6.


And all Global Sliders are the same as they are in A&S set on Page 1, I was too lazy to reset them to 5

Honestly, only HR numbers changed so that I noticed it, nothing else.

What is the reason you switched to timing? No longer use the influence?

Flipped it right back to directional....on 3-1 and 2-0 counts with my power guys I love using my directional......and I promptly cranked out 2 HR's from Soto and hit a shot with Judge.

In hitters counts Directional can be deadly!!

Have you tried Fisheye 2? It is a little more zoomed in.

Have you tried Fisheye 2? It is a little more zoomed in.

Yeah I have....I fell in love with Retro after switching to it last year. The Jumbotrons and park backdrops look majestic with that camera.

Sliders are playing great but I am smacking the CPU around on offense and they’re doing decent themselves but could use a little more Oomph.

It's not a major shift.

V1 favors the CPU slightly.

I balanced V2 to be equal. Hitting and pitching sliders are matched.

If anyone is loving V1...stick with it!

V2 is likely the last update for a long time if ever. I feel like I found my groove.

We will have some classic roster tweaks we are still testing.

I will endorse the sim games sliders Dowie and Biliiou have been posting about here. They work nicely for modern day franchise in calming down complete games from pitchers.

Also JoshC's idea of adding 10 to the CPU starting pitchers stamina then editing back after your game in conjunction with starter stamina at 6 and hook on 4 is working really well.

After you play a full game and get back to the franchise menu, do you then load up the "sim game" sliders? So when you advance a day that the sliders are set to what Dowie/Billiou use to keep down the complete games for pitchers.
