Re: Official MLB Power Pros thread!
Use the Fielding Practice mode a couple times to get a better feel for defense. It's a pretty nifty mode, you can specifically setup how the ball is hit to practice anything. So if you want to practice diving for sharply hit groundballs that just stay fair, or fast line drives that carom in the right field corner, you can set it all up in this mode.Comment

Man, i feel like I am beating a dead horse here, and boring you guys to death. This game just keeps getting more and more amazing, so much variation in terms of gameplay and scores. The way I lose and win, nothing feels the same. I must have payed 15-17 exhibition games today and its not even close to being boring or repetitive.
I have the Cubs team completely edited and w/ 2007 stats...so that makes it even more funTwitch - bluengold34_osComment

Yeah, fielding takes some getting used to. You see a hit, and you instinctively move the Control Stick in a particular direction expecting to move a certain fielder, but the first guy you get control of is someone else and you end up going the wrong way by accident.

Re: Official MLB Power Pros thread!
Man there is no telling how good this game could have been, if they incorporated more wii controls.
You can easily pitch and field, by manuevring the directional pad on the wii remote and leaving the buttons to throw to a base.
Instead, you are left with not alot of depth for the wii control wise. You just got the exhibition and the home run derby.
The game definately has something gameplay wise. I don't know what it has, but it has something I can't quite put my finger on. It has all the baseball strategy still there, except, it's done quicker, faster, and a great player attributes that are deep that are pretty easy to pull up.Comment

Re: Official MLB Power Pros thread!
Likely depends on a couple factors - CPU difficulty level, condition of the rest of the bullpen, franchise vs exhibition game, pitcher/batter matchups, etc.Comment
