I kind of liked the MVP text mode, but I only played a few games. It could get tiresome before too long???? And yeah, it does seem that stealing is a gauranteed out. None the less, I did have some fun substituting pitchers, hitters &amp; runners. And some key sacrifice decisions were interesting.

I've pre-ordered the game, but probably won't get it until Saturday or Monday. I hope some of you manage only types will inform us of the outcome of your labors. Keeping fingers crossed.

That's fairly encouraging to me - it was rare in last years version to see a 10-2 kind of a game, especially with ace pitchers on the mound. After looking at the videos Steve posted and seeing this I'm hopeful that the offense has been improved this time around. We will find out for sure soon enough.

BTW - what was ASB_Man thinking leaving Foulke out there for 4 2/3?
