MLBGames, I was playing a franchise game last evening and I noticed this occured twice in the same franchise game.

A runner is on first base, a grounder is hit to short, the SS flips/throws to the 2B man and the momentum of the 2B man carries him past the bag near the SS and both runners are safe with a throw to first too late.

This happened once for the user team and once for the CPU.

Has anyone else experienced this? And would MLB Games be able to replicate it?

Happened to me but the other way around...2B flipped it to SS...momentum of SS took him right of the bag before he caught the ball and the runner at 2nd was safe. At least the throw to 1st was in time.

I kinda just used my imagination to pretend it was a poor relay from the 2nd baseman that pulled the SS off the bag...lol. A's had the worst defense in baseball last year, soooo......

This is a pretty rare issue and we believe we finally have a fix for it that will be in our NEXT patch. It's being verified in test now. We did have one customer who reported the issue say that he uninstalled and reinstalled the game following our most recent patch and the issue went away. (Note that we don't believe it is actually fixed yet in that patch, but that seemed to work for him, for now at least, so it may be worth a try if you desire)

The fix - and I got it to work: I had to completely uninstall the game from my Xbox One. After going through the reinstall, I then had to go entirely through the "roster tutorial" - so something to consider on this as it's not stated one has to do this. But I'm ok now. But even the tutorial was a bit clunky to where it wasn't clear about next steps. But I appreciate the response and thank you!

Hey MLB, I had one problem that led into another problem last night in Franchise mode. First off, the Dodgers carry 13 pitchers in real life, which is reflected on the game, but I cannot replace a pitcher w/ a position player or visa versa, so I'm stuck with 13 pitchers too. So I'm playing the Giants & the game went into extra innings, so I used all 4 bench players as pinch hitters throughout the game. When I was prompted to replace the last pinch hitter w/ a pitcher at the start of a new inning, I tried to put a pitcher in, but was notified that I had no position players left. I tried to sub in the pitcher at every spot in the lineup, but was not allowed to & could not exit the menu, so I was stuck there.

Still no audio on my iPhone 7 unless I have the headphones plugged in. Is there a fix coming for that?

We believe the audio is working fine. iPhones have two different audio settings for headphones and the built-in speakers. It may be as simple as the volume is turned all the way down for the built-in speakers and/or the physical mute (silent/vibrate) toggle on the side of the phone is set to silent. Can you please double check this?

If the phone is on silent, you will be able to hear through the headphones, but not the built-in speakers.

We have not announced a release date for Switch.

Hopefully it's within the next month. Been itching to play this on the Switch.

I have a question, can you do cpu vs. cpu in franchise mode? Able to control more than one team? Is there create a player?

RBI Dev- Having lots of fun with the game! Ran into a bug in franchise where the game hangs when accessing league leader stats page. Only 2 games played in the season so far.

We've been noticing this too and have also come to believe it may be stadium-specific. If it is, then there may be a simple fix once we get the opportunity to dig into it. It's on our list!
