He was added with our Opening Day Roster Update. Unfortunately, we are only able to treat him as a pitcher this year. He'll still have appropriate batter ratings for when he bats, but you won't be able to put him in the lineup as anything other than pitcher.

Is that similar to Ryan Braun/LF/1B, but will only be in the game as LF?

Can we also get some of the skin tones on some of the players fixed for example Addison Russel and Jake Arrieta and a few others for the next roster update.. Thanks

Lol.. Man Inkcil I know it sounds petty but man I really want this game to succeed and the little things will make or break a game. This is one of the areas I heard one of the RBI game developers talk about putting time into the player models this year to add more realism to the game. I know and apologize but those little things could be annoying at times seen a player with a tan face with white arms or seen a player’s arms looking like 2 lite sabers been waved at you while he’s pitching like Arrieta..[emoji16]

Thanks for bringing these up. I assume you are on console? Since both of these players were scanned and not generic models, their skin tones unfortunately cannot be updated via roster update. But we should be able to get these into a patch. Russell in particular looks like he somehow mistakenly got someone else's texture for his arms. They're definitely not right! So thanks again.

MLB Games, Thanks again for coming on here and answering our questions! Your interaction with us (customers) is very important and much appreciated.


The guy that was talking about how to play with the legends. Since the only way to play with them seems to be in Franchise, I am going to try to start a franchise and try to trade legends to my team, then deal them to other teams. For example, I would trade one of my players for Ted Williams then trade him to the Red Sox, trade that player back to the legends etc. We may be able to work around that way.

I found out you CAN put the legends into Franchise by trading the way I mentioned above. It will take a while but it can be done. To be specific, I had to sign the legend onto my team, then trade the legend to the team I wanted them to be on.

I don't have the game but have a quick question.

When players come up to bat do you get a look at their face? I watched a few streams and didn't see that but not sure if it was a setting they used or what. I'm assuming you can but just wanted to check.

Nah the only time you’ll see their faces is at the beginning of the game and when they strike out when they react you’ll be able to see their faces sometimes.. But for the most part they look good..
